About this audiobook
Wherever you go…
she’ll be watching.
Sarah Goldman, mother to six-year-old Jacob, is relieved to move across the country. She has a lot she wants to leave behind, especially Holly Monroe, the pretty twenty-two-year-old babysitter she and her husband, Daniel, hired to take care of their young son last summer. It started out as a perfect arrangement—Sarah had a childminder her son adored, and Holly found the mother figure she’d always wanted. But Sarah’s never been one to trust very easily, so she kept a close eye on Holly, maybe too close at times. What she saw raised some questions, not only about who Holly really was but what she was hiding. The more Sarah watched, the more she learned—until one day, she saw something she couldn’t unsee, something so shocking that all she could do was flee.
Sarah has put it all behind her and is starting over in a different city with her husband and son. They’ve settled into a friendly suburb where the neighbors, a tight clique of good citizens, are always on the lookout for danger. But when Sarah finds hidden cameras in her new home, she has to wonder: Has her past caught up to her, and worse yet, who’s watching her now?
A spine-tingling, page-turning novel from USA TODAY and #1 national bestselling author Samantha M. Bailey, Watch Out for Her is psychological suspense at its very best—a chilling look at trust, voyeurism, and obsession in the modern age, and how far we will go to watch out for those we love.

What our readers think
Readers find this title to be an entertaining and thrilling read. The story weaves seamlessly between present and past timelines, keeping readers on the edge of their seats. The themes of belonging and authentic connection are explored effectively. While some found the ending predictable and felt that there were missed opportunities in the plot, overall, the book is enjoyable and keeps readers intrigued. The character development is praised, particularly the relatable desperation of the character Holly. The ending is surprising and the book is worth the read, despite some pacing issues.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5WATCH OUT FOR HER is about Sarah, who relocated with her husband and son after disturbing events occurred with her family’s babysitter—only to discover that the trouble she thought she left behind has followed her to her new house. This was such an entertaining read! Eerie from the very beginning, this story weaves back and forth between present and past timelines, and Samantha Bailey does an excellent job of making these transitions feel seamless and propulsive. As each chapter ends, you HAVE to consume the next one, because the suspense and tension keep increasing with every scene. I also loved the themes this book explored, namely the lengths we’ll go to in order to belong, or to obtain the “perfect” family, and the need for authentic connection. The ending is immensely thrilling and clever and satisfying, and overall, this is the perfect book to pop in your beach bag.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is a good read. I loved the spin on everything. You got me though, I thought I had it all figured out but wasn’t quite right. Definitely a fan.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This was a terrific book!! The author did an amazing job! I loved the narrator as well! My attention was held every step of the way. All throughout this story different scenes created such nervous anxiety within me where I wasn’t even able to let out my breath because I too panicked about what was about to take place lol! It was very exciting!! And it occurred many many times!! Definitely kept me at the edge of my seat as is said. The character development was wonderful! A decent amount of time before the book ended I pretty much new who the culprit was. That did NOT take anything away from the book though. My heart definitely goes out to the character Holly. And I can personally relate to her desperation to just want to belong to a loving family and to especially have a loving nurturing relationship with a Mom. This mystery thriller was really great for my taste! I highly recommend it!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5It’s a good book and the ending will surprise you. It does take a while to get good and drags on a bit but is worth it.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Ending did not make sense. It was weird and a let down. Too many loose ends.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Kept me intrigued, but the ending was predictable. Plot could have went in so many other better directions.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great summer read! Enjoyed it very much even tho I disliked all the characters but for Holly. A young adult that craved the love a mother which she never loved.
