Darlene is from a small town in West Virginia. She is married and has 4 children. She started writing poetry as a way to express her feelings when she was in high school. She has been writing for 25 years. As a small child she was separated from her brothers and sisters. Her poems are mostly of her dealings with love and relationships, From hurt to excitement. A treasure of her life. Truly words from her heart. She shares her feelings of her losses and her love in her poetry.
