About the editors

Francis Man was until recently a postdoctoral scholar at King’s College London, where he developed novel PET radiotracers for tracking therapeutic cells and investigated methods for imaging lung epithelial permeability. He has a PhD in Chemical Biology from King’s College London and a PharmD from the University of Strasbourg. Francis is currently a Senior Scientist at GE Healthcare, in charge of the preclinical development of imaging agents.

Simon Cleary is a postdoctoral scholar at UCSF where he studies mechanisms of acute lung injury and develops new approaches for lung imaging under the mentorship of Mark Looney. He has a PhD in Pharmacology and a BSc in Physiology & Pharmacology from King’s College London. Simon was recently awarded an early-career grant from the National Blood Foundation for his research into transfusion reactions and organ transplant rejection.
