PROJECT NAME- MICROCONTROLLER BASED BLUETOOTH OPERATED MOBILE CAR ABSTRACT

In our day to day life mobile is becoming the most important communication device. But in todays mobile there are number of features which can be used to do control of device also. One of such feature is Bluetooth. This is a common communication standard to link other devices with mobile via RF communication link.We can use this Bluetooth connection to control and communicate with other devices of our home, car and offices. mobile phone provides the advantage of robust control, working range as large as the coverage area of the service provider, no interference with other controllers and up to twelve controlles.

Although the appearance and the capabilities of robots vary vastly, all robots share the feature of a mechanical, movable structure under some form of control. The Control of robot involves three distinct phases: perception, processing and action. Generally, the preceptors are sensors mounted on the robot , processing is done by the on-board microcontroller or processor, and the task is perfomed using motors or with some other actuators. With such applicatios in mind,we decided to make a Bluetooth operated mobile robot which will work on given instructions. In this project microcontroller based Bluetooth operated mobile car we are using Bluetooth technology and the microcontroller 89s52. The Bluetooth enabled headset will send a DTMF tone depending on which key is pressed on keypad. This same DTMF tone will be heard on Bluetooth enabled headset . We will pickup this signal in headset through microphone and amplify the signal and then present it to DTMF tone decoder IC, which will give out a four bit output. This output is given to C for generating appropriate command to control devices connected to it via relay interface. The received and decoded key number is display on LCD also for easy user understandings. In this project there is a wireless camera for capturing pictures .So by giving instructios we will operate this robot .
