In addition, each day next week students can purchase tickets for a quarter each for a chance to come out on the floor and complete a challenge to win prizes for their class! Thank you to our 6 th grade class for planning these activities. 6th grade parents are welcome to attend the event. We will begin at 1:45 next Thursday!
Art News
KDG students have been studying about the differences between 2 dimensional (drawings, paintings, etc.) and 3 dimensional art (sculptures). Enjoy looking for 2-D or 3-D art with your child in your home or other places throughout the week. 5th graders are currently working on a collage assignment. Ask them about the supplies they have been using to create their art and what they think makes a great collage! 6th grade students have been drawing realistic shoe drawings. Ask them about how they show value using only a pencil. Be sure and check out the art gallery site on our schools homepage!
