TEXA FAN Ventilating Units
The Texa FAN and FIL ranges are fans and lters with air ow capacities from 57 to 580 m3/h. Fan units are reversible so air can be pumped into the enclosure as normal or pulled out of the enclosure should the need arise. A wide range of owrates The range of air owrates that FAN ventilating units can produce is from 57m3/h to 580m3/h. For larger ows we recommend a DLK ventilating tower, but this ow range will cover the vast majority of applications. Quick & easy to assemble A simple square cut needs to be made into the enclosure panel, and the FAN unit is tted with a simple click-in system which requires no screws. Compared to traditional systems this can save 20-30 minutes in installation time alone! The click-in system is suitable for panel thicknesses of between 1.2 and 2.4mm, making it suitable for almost all of the B&R range. If the panel falls outside this range, a kit is included in the pack for a more traditional installation method. The standard direction of air ow is from the outside to the inside of the enclosure (supply ow) for all FAN units. If required the user can reverse the direction of ow by simply removing and remounting the fan in the opposite direction. Reliability & minimal maintenance The FAN units have an extremely high volumetric efciency, and have an expected life of 30,000 working hours at an ambient temperature of 55C. They are all designed to ensure quick and safe electrical connect via a terminal board. Maintenance is quick and easy, with ready access to lter cloths, and options of washable lter cloths available. Protection The standard cloth lter is an EU4 type which has a ltering efciency equivalent to 91% and an IP44 rating. It features a progressive ltering surface made from synthetic bres. If a higher rating is required an EU5 lter cloth will allow an IP54 protection rating, and improves the ltering efciency to 97%. This is available as an optional extra.
