Course Description
:
This introductory course in Humanities deals in studying arts on variety of approaches. As an introduction to Arts
Appreciation, this course deals with arts as an important and dynamic venture of man. Hence, the course will attempt to define, identify, and study the different
forms of arts and its social relevance in connection to its role to humanity.
II.
Exhibit knowledge and understanding on the significance of the elements and medium of arts.
Manifest self realization through the process of art making.
Produce a study of a life of an artist and its effect to the society
Create his/her own way of expressing his individuality through arts
Learn to appreciate arts on the level of cognitive and perceptual ability.
