to interview prospective volunteers, delivered training and mentored new recruits.

Member of UK Youth Parliament 2010-2012

Primarily, I worked in a consultative capacity to enhance youth engagement projects

on a local and national scale, developing and delivering training to young people in my
area on political participation. I also worked to relay the views and priorities of the
young people to parliamentarians. The highlight was having the opportunity to speak
in the chambers of the House of Commons on graduate tax and that contribution
being broadcast by Radio 4s The Today Programme.
