4.1 Introductory Activity Checking of attendance.
5 minutes I am going to show you jumbled letters which you are going to unscramble. The person
who has an idea must stand-up and wait to be called before saying the answer. He /She
will get 5 points for this if able to give the correct answer. The jumbled letters are:

Excellent! Our topic this morning is about literature.

4.4 Abstraction According to Esther Lombardi, literature is a term used to describe written and

with letters," literature most commonly refers to works of the creative imagination,
including poetry, drama, fiction, nonfiction, journalism, and in some instances, song.

For many, the word literature suggests a higher art form, merely putting words on a
page doesn't necessarily mean creating literature.

Reinforcing/ Strengthening Your assignment is to look for a literature regarding global warming. Do not forget to
the days lesson write the source of your literature and if possible include the author and title. Put it in a
shortbondpaper. No duplication of assignments.
