    Polypropylene
    Polypropylene is widely used for the production of melt blown and composite nonwoven fabrics for
    hygiene, medical, sorbent, filtration and other markets.
    Total Petrochemicals Ultra-High Melt Flow PP resins are all pelletized and have been tailored
    for melt blown processing. Total UHMF PP resins allow Total to offer a full portfolio of polypropylene
    resins for nonwovens applications, and complement resin offerings for Spunbond and Staple fiber
    applications.

    Total 3962 features

    Pelletized form
    Total UHMF PP resins are delivered in pelletized form,
    similar to resins for Spunbond and Staple fiber
    applications. Unlike UHMF powder-form resins, Total
    UHMF are cleaner to handle, have no dusting associated
    with powder-form, and show good intra- and inter-lot
    consistency.

    Patented technology
    The product and process to produce Total UHMF PP
    resin is covered under U.S. Patent 6,423,800. Such
    technological development is indicative of Totals ongoing
    commitment to the nonwovens industry.

    Tertiary Butyl Alcohol (TBA) free


    formulation
    Total UHMF PP resins are produced using Ziegler-Natta
    catalyst and are vis-broken using a proprietary additive.
    Unlike other additives used for other vis-broken grades,
    the additive used by Total is tertiary butyl alcohol-free. The
    use of this additive makes Total UHMF PP resins a more
