Part 1 ASSURE Lesson Plan

ED 240 ON Fall 2017

Instructions: For Part 1 of your ASSURE Lesson Plan, you are asked to use what youve
posted to the Analyze and State Standards and Objectives forum to develop the first
part of your Lesson Plan. By the end of the course well cover all steps in the ASSURE
Model. Please consider the feedback that was provided to you. Start by painting the
picture, this gives a little background on you in the teacher role, and then introduce
your topic. Finally, youll Analyze your Learners and State the Standards and
Objectives for your Lesson. The rubric on the last page will be used for grading.

Paint the Picture

My name is Montrez Greer and i am from Lakeland, Florida. I have a degree in the science of Physical Education. What inspired me to
chase this dream was my high school physical education teacher. He taught me on a daily basis to push myself and chase the dreams
that you have set forth. I am teaching Physical Education courses in grades K-12 at Lake Gibson Senior High School.

Lesson Introduction
In this lesson plan,
students will be able to increase fitness awareness, levels and education. They will be able to select and apply different warm-up
techniques to use for each individual sports. The task is to demonstrate different movement skills that need to be used in order to
maximize and restore muscle growth/recovery.
