This document compares linear, quadratic, and exponential functions by having students complete a chart analyzing the formula, table of values, graph, and other properties of each function. The chart includes the formula, a table of x and y-values, whether the rate of change is constant, the name of the function family, writing another example formula, and describing a possible application. Students work with partners to analyze each row and compare the different functions.
