Beyond Basic Lesson
Technology Standard Addressed: 4a. Students know and use a deliberate design process for generating
ideas, testing theories, creating innovative artifacts or solving authentic problems.
Universal Design for Learning (UDL): The UDL that will be accessible for this lesson are: large keyboards and
track pads for those students who require assistance when using the computer. There is also an option to
enlarge texts for those who are visually impaired.
Reflective Practice:
After designing this lesson, the impact on student learning incorporated their own interests and gave them a
chance to use each other for ideas and work as a group. The problem with group projects that I will have to

watch out for is to make sure all students are pulling their weight. There will be a chance for students to
provide me feedback as well on the project and in that, they will be able to speak their mind on how
members of the group contributed. In order to enhance this lesson, we could add more technology and give
them a chance to explore other graphing cites.
