Overview of the lesson: Number line was used to introduce rounding numbers to students. The
objective of the lesson was for students to be able to estimate multiplication output through
rounding. The lesson was well modeled by the teacher. She uses big, bright, and colorful slides to
engage the students. Shaikha prepared well for the lesson. Various materials and worksheets
were used during the lesson.
Blue and Green assignments were challenging. Students were discussing the answers with one
another and they were highly engaged and focused. A very well differentiated lesson.
Lesson was student centered with the teacher working with individual students in need of
assistance.
Shaikha was caring and kind to all the students and has shown great patience.

Areas for development: Managing Learning. Order must be established. Students didn’t seem to
understand the class rules.
Part of your assessment was to take pictures and notes. Difficult to determine your mode of
assessment during the lesson.
