Overview of the lesson:
She didn’t provide a lesson plan for her topic. She showed videos and let the class sing and dance for
motivation and discussion. She presented the lesson very quick and gave differentiated activities
afterwards.

Areas for development:


1. Tracing of numbers in the air-she has to use the mirror image for the students
2. More activities for assessment.

Focus for next lesson:


Give more activities to the class for assessment of the lesson.

Professionalism and Understanding: Professional Growth


 She has shown initiative, enthusiasm, active participation and engagement in the classroom
however it is not consistent.
Most of the time, she arrives in school past 8.
She uses her cellphone too often inside the classroom
She often communicates to ask for suggestions for her lesson planning and
sometimes to inform that she wasn’t able to prepare for her lesson.
Communication Skills
 Since there is limited time for us to meet after class, we are only able to discuss
and plan activities during class hours and every Thursday afternoon. She also often
communicates through email and whatsapp.
 She presents the lessons well and uses different tones and expressions to engage
the class in her lesson. However the students are having difficulty understanding
sometimes in how she ask questions.
 She has prepared differentiated activities which are appropriate for different types
of learners.

Monitoring and Assessment


 She asks appropriate questions to the class. She just needs to ask more questions
and make the questions clear for the students to understand.

Critical Reflection
 She often asks for the weekly plan and lesson plan for the week. However, she has
only taught twice for the past three weeks. First was when the MCT observed and
last Wednesday (February 27).
