I belong to land of Gautam Buddha i.e., Gaya district of Bihar. I have completed my primary and
secondary education from my home town. Here at IIIT Manipur, I am pursuing Electronics and
Communication Engineering. I have been always a top performer in academics. I have done two
internships, one from CDAC Bangalore and another with a Mumbai based startup AllinCall. I have
completed couple of projects. In free day, I like going for trekking. I also love painting, crafts and writing
technical blog. I have also got recognition in my hobbies at college level. That's all about me, sir. I would
be happy to detail anything specific you would like to know.
I am determine person.
My approaches are process oriented.
Weakness:
Doing a bit of everything what comes in my way. Sometimes it is fruitful and sometimes
it’s just a waste of time.
Gets irritated when someone interrupts in between when I am doing a thoughtful work.
What is the difference between confidence and over confidence?
Sir, I would like two give two examples to answer this question.
Hard Work: Started with reding the whole passage and trying to understand the meaning of it.
Secondly answering questions referring the passage for each question.
Smart Work: Started with scanning at all the questions. Then reading the passage. Probably you
will find the most of the answers in one go.
How do you prefer to get feedback from your manager: through formal
performance reviews or daily/weekly meetings? Why?
Formal performance review, because I think that way it is more connecting and more effective to
my personality. But either way can work.
What do you hope to achieve during your first six months here?
A great start in my career, learning technologies of todays (cutting edge technologies in data
science and data engineering). Shaping myself by building great personality working with great
minds there.
Your manager assigns you a big task right before the end of the day.
How would you reply?
If it is doable, I will make sure to complete it. But in case I have some plan for that evening, I
would request him to give sometime or help from other team members to complete it at earliest.
How would you change an institutional “this is how we always do it” attitude,
if you felt there was a better approach?
I can suggest this by highlighting the use cases in which the approach has performed really well,
its causes and effect, pros and cons. For my final year project, each student had to choose project
guide. I choose a professor who worked on Signal processing and Data Communication, I knew
his work could be accomplished with programming. He asked me to pick any project related to
MIMO (5G technology). But I politely discussed with him about my future goals and how doing
a project with machine learning can give me a head start in my career. And good thing is that he
agreed.
