a Ship Energy Efficiency Plan – SEEMP.
FuelMACS is a reliable electronic system for
handling ship fuel performance data efficiently.
The aim is to reduce fuel consumption,
emissions and to save cost. The reduction in
carbon emissions are proportional to the
reduction in fuel consumption.
The system is designed in accordance with IMO
requirements regarding SEEMP.
Since 2013 it is mandatory for all 400 GT ships to
track ship energy efficiency data according to the
SEEMP.
The purpose of SEEMP as set by MARPOL is the
reduction of global carbon emissions by
minimising fuel consumption.
If SEEMP is introduced properly one can obtain
