Paint me a Picture!
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Divide the class into four groups.
2. Give each group 8 minutes to read and comprehend The Collaborative Art of
Filmmaking on pages 270-271.
3. Assign a group that will act as a judge of the work of the rest.
4. Dictate an element of filmmaking to each group. Each element will be illustrated by
each group thru gestures.
5. Give a cue for the groups to freeze a position that will best portray the dictated
element.
6. Once the groups stop moving, the judging begins. The best group to portray the
element of filmmaking shall be given the point.

“If you are to make a film of your own, what topic will you choose, and What will be its title?”
Evaluation:
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Give each group a loose white board (or anything to write on) and a white board marker (or
any alternative).
2. Read each question to the class.
3. Let the groups write their answers on the white board given to them.
4. Give a cue when the groups may show their answers.
5. Give a point per item, to every group that comes up with the correct answer. The sum of the
points that each group gains shall be the score of its members.

3. What element of filmmaking requires creating an area that looks realistically as it should be
where a particular scene must take place?
4. What element of filmmaking refers to the effective delivery of the lines , roles and actions of
