    4th QUARTER- PERFORMANCE TASK

    A MUSICAL
    (A MUSIC 10 and ARTS 10 COLLABORATION)

    Musical Theater is a form of theatrical performance that combines songs, spoken


    dialogue, acting and dance. The story and emotional content of the musical- humor, pathos
    (pity or compassion), love, anger- are communicated through words, music, movement and
    technical aspects of the entertainment as an integrated whole.

     Select from any of the Musical Theme:


    o A Philippine Myth, Legend, or Folk Tale or a Current Issue
    o Broadway
    o West End
    o Or your very own creation/original play

     choose a scene from any of the musical plays you like; create your own version of
    that scene
     you may also create your own scene as part of your original musical play
     Pay much attention on your singing, acting and/ or dancing stint; please consider
    costume and make up to fit the play
     video record it; please consider digital manipulations and techniques in filming it
     submit it to the comment section of our FB page OR G-classrooms, FB Group.
