50-watt wideband The RF-7800UL-V150 is a 50 watt Wideband Vehicular Amplifier Adapter (VAA) for use

with a separately procured AN/PRC-117G radio. Designed for long-range wideband

vehicular amplifier applications and increased capability, the RF-7800UL-V150 system provides 50 watts from
adapter (vaa) 255 MHz to 2 GHz, and 10 watts from 30 MHz to 225 MHz. The VAA supports both
narrowband and wideband waveforms up to 5 MHz bandwidth.

RF-7800UL-V150 The single-unit VAA is extremely low-profile and deployable in multiple configurations,
including as a single unit or paired with another RF-7800UL-V150 or RF-7800M-V150 low
band VAA in the Universal SINCGARS Interface Module (USIM).
features
The VAA features separate VHF, UHF, SATCOM, and wideband antenna ports with
> A low-profile, high-efficiency automatic port switching, providing the radio system with true multi-mission capability.
wideband VAA for the The operator only needs to select the required radio preset to switch between ground,
AN/PRC-117G manpack radio ground-to-air, SATCOM, and wideband networking communications.
Other features provided by the RF-7800UL-V150 include: UHF (225-520 MHz)
and L-Band (1.2-2 GHz) collocation filters, internal LNA, VIC-1 and VIC-3 interface,
external power amplifier control interface, and external power output to power
accessories such as a loudspeaker or battery charger. The VAA provides a mechanism
to lock the manpack radio for physical security.
