One solution for all your hospitalisation needs, for life
We believe in the importance of staying fit and well for ourselves and those we love.
If there’s ever a need for urgent medical attention or hospitalisation, your focus should be on recovery, not on
worrying about the financial and emotional strain on your family. That’s what Great Eastern’s Supreme Health is
all about. It offers comprehensive and affordable medical coverage that puts you and your family first, wherever
you are.

Opt for higher class wards i.e. Class A or B1

wards in public hospitals or private hospitals.

Seek consultation from your preferred doctors

and specialists.

Supreme Health offers “as-charged” benefits,

reimbursing the eligible expenses of your hospital
bills up to the amount charged, and provides
additional coverage.

With Great Eastern’s Total Health plan, an add-on

to Supreme Health, your hospitalisation coverage
is enhanced as the Deductible and Co-insurance
portion of your hospital bill will be taken care of
from the first dollar up. Extend your protection with
the option to cover overseas medical treatment
with Total Health Plus rider.

Your Great Eastern distribution representative is

Supreme Health
Supreme Health is a Medisave-approved Integrated Shield Plan that reimburses the eligible hospitalisation and
surgical expenses of your hospital bills up to the amount charged. Available in three plan types (Refer to Supreme
Health Benefits Table), it enables you to choose your coverage according to your needs and budget.
Supreme Health provides lifetime coverage, and renewability is guaranteed even when you have made claims
against the plan.
Be protected even before and after hospitalisation
Supreme Health takes care of your Pre-Hospital Specialist’s Consultation and Post-Hospitalisation Treatment,
which includes examination and laboratory tests (within 120 days before and after hospitalisation).
Full length stay in a community hospital
Supreme Health ensures that you get the necessary rehabilitative and medical care in a community hospital as it
reimburses you up to S$800 per day for as long as you need to stay there.
Comprehensive psychiatric care
Supreme Health is one of the few medical plans that provides Pre-Hospital Specialist’s Consultation and Post-
Hospitalisation Treatment benefits for psychiatric treatment to offer you comprehensive wellness coverage.
Greater assurance for women
Enjoy peace of mind as a mother-to-be with Supreme Health’s coverage for pregnancy and childbirth
complications as well as congenital abnormalities. Supreme Health also reimburses the cost of breast
reconstruction after a mastectomy1, as part of your treatment for breast cancer.
Smoother hospital admission
To ease your financial burden during admission, our Letter of Guarantee (LOG)2 helps you waive up to S$10,000 of
the pre-admission deposit.

Total Health
Total Health enhances your Supreme Health by covering the Deductible and Co-insurance portions of your hospital
bills. Available in four plan types (Refer to Total Health Benefit Table), you can enjoy coverage from the first dollar
up and benefits to cover related out-of-hospital costs.
Home health care benefit3
Recover in the comfort of your home from long-term sicknesses such as cancer, stroke or dementia after
discharge from hospital with our home health care benefit. It covers at-home treatments and medical services
including professional visitation fees made by medical doctors, qualified nurses and qualified physiotherapists.
Purchase or rental of medical aids
Recovery sometimes requires the additional support of medical aids deemed as Medically Necessary4 such as
special appliances or prosthesis, which can be costly. This additional sum will help fund purchases or rentals of
such medical aids.
Get well benefit
Speed up your recovery process by using this one-time lump sum payment of S$500 to purchase supplements to
boost your immunity or even sign-up for fitness classes.
Daily hospital cash incentive
Receive a hospital cash incentive of up to S$275 for each day that you are admitted to a lower class ward than
the one you are entitled to. This extra cash can come in handy for your daily expenses.

greateasternlife.com

hospitalisation. Enjoy 10% off your child’s first year Total Health policy premium if both of you are covered under
Total Health.
Hospice care benefit
Ease the emotional burden and physical discomfort for you and your loved ones with the hospice care benefit. It
reimburses in-patient hospice stays of up to S$300 per day for a maximum of 90 days per Period of Insurance.
