DC GENSET for BACK UP (PV or Grid)

With AMF&ATS Functionality

Model: DC-Genset AMF 48/18

18 kW @ 2000 RPM, -48Vdc

The Ascot DC GENSET with integrated AMF feature is a

-48Vdc power module ready to provide standby power
to any telecom site.

The AMF logic controller also continuously checks the

load DC voltage to understand the Primary source of
power is available or not.

These features make the Ascot DC Genset with AMF the

DIESEL DC GENERATING SET WITH AMF

best solution for:
- ON-GRID Back up (AMF GRID)
- Full Solar System Back up (AMF PV)
It is even applicable as primary source of power running

DIESEL DC GENERATING SET WITH AMF

LCB: Load Circuit Breaker;

4.0 Control Panel

The Automatic Control Panel is integrated inside the canopy and allows an easy and fast (plug & play) connection to the Load

It is supplied with the following components:

- N°1 DSE 7450 electronic control card
- N°1 Ascot ASH card
- N°1 Load Circuit Breaker

The AMF integrated logic controller, Starts and Stops the Generator Set on Low /High load DC voltage thresholds. If a battery bank is
connected to the DC genset output, there will be NO CONTROL for its charging/discharging currents

AMF Main Functionalities:

Starts the Generator set through dry contract when the low voltage set point is reached;
Programs the Generator Set running time before to stop it;
Stops the Genset when the voltage rises the high set point

4.1 Total transfer time (source to source)

Existing Battery and generator are permanently connected in parallel and separate through generator internal diodes. For this reason
there is no transfer time between the two sources.
