DATE: 11 July 2016

1. In cognizance with DepEd Memorandum No. 291, s. 2008 entitled "Guidelhes for the
Implementation of CSC Resolution No. 080096 on Working Hours of Public School Teachers',
which states that *Public school tsacherc shall rEnder at most six (6) hours of actual classroom
teaching a day. All advisorship and/or special assignments for the entire sohool year shall be
considered as one teaching load.

2. An ICT Coordinator position plays a vital role in school operations and entail additional workload for
teachers aside from the regularteaohing assignments.

J. The School ICT Coordinator shall perform the following duties and responsibilities:

a. Ensure the efficient utilization and maintenance of Fclassroom and DCP Packages in the
school;
b. Oversee all aspect of ICT in the school and take initiative diagnostics and recommendation to
ensure &e ICT resources are effectively utilized;
c. Facilitate the early submission of different forms and other DepEd ICT enabled systems pIS,
EBEIS, E-classroom Record DepEd Email Acoount);
d. Take charge in training Gachers and staffin integrating ICT related programs;
e. Work in coordination with the Division ITO and other School ICT Coordinators with regards
to the implementation of division ICT and ICT related programs;
f. Prepare report assessment and action plan for ICT; and
g. Other ICT related works assigned by the school head.
4. To ensure the prompt compliance to all ICT enabled System reports, School ICT Coordinators shall
render up to five (5) teaching hours and one hour (l) shall be utilized for their ICT functions and
duties.

5. Please refer to Appendix A fo'r the format of submission.
6. School Heads are advised to submit a copy of designation of their ICT Coordinator using the attached
template on or before 15 July 2016 Gridar.
7. Immediate dissemination and sfict compliance with this memorandum is earnestly desired.

ln the exigency of the service you are hereby designated as the SCHOOL ICT COORDINATOR of
effective immediately in addition to your regular teaching loads (references:
RA 1880, CSC Resolution No. 080095, DepEd Memo 291 s. 2008, DepEd Order No. 15, s. 2009, RA 9155,
Magna Carta for the Public School Teachers, Civil Service Code).

You are expected to perform the following duties and responsibilities and such other related functions
as may be assigned.

Duties & R*ponsibiliti*:

1. Maintain the effective use of E-Oassroom;


2. Monitor the utilization of E-ctassroom including other ICT devices (laptops, proiectors);
3. Report problems/concerns abo* ICT packages in schools to the supplier and SDO-IT Section;
4. Facilitate the early submission of the different online forms and other ICT related job/works {LlS,
EBEIS, LRMDS, e-class record, DepEd email accounts, registration);
5. Provide technical assistance to school head, class advisers, co-teachers, pupils/students with
regards to different ICT related joblwork; and
6. Other ICT related works assigned by the school head.

This will be addition to your current position and will not amount to additional compensation.
