Movement Music

Formation and Position

There are distinctive meanings
in dances that are needed to
be conveyed for others to
understand.
The musical composition
determines the dance composition.
Music is essential to dance because
it adds flavor to the dance itself.
Even if dance can be performed
without music, it is more likely to be
presented beautifully with music.
In dancing, transitions are essential; this is
what we call change of formations and
positions. It is generally known that
changing of formation adds beauty to the
dance because when we are dancing,
we are performing it in front of the
audience. Definitely, if there are no
changes in the formation, the audience
will find it boring to watch.
