5. Course Description:

The course shall focus on providing students a robust understanding of gender issues and concerns with due appreciation of the diversity and individual
uniqueness of learners and everyone involved in the educational process. It shall further provide an avenue to have clear gender lens to allow the
design of a gender responsive interventions geared towards an individual well-being. It shall instill among students a thorough appreciation of the
principles, framework, concepts in gender and sexuality guided by the pertinent laws, issuance and other legal restrictions in promoting and protecting
human equity.
