What was our lesson yesterday? Our lesson yesterday was all about
Footnote to Youth by Jose Garcia-Villa.
It brought us lessons about marrying at
an early age.

It gave us perspective that early

marriage is not a good idea because
what we feel right now are just
temporary feelings because our
knowledge of the world is limited. We
are still too young and these feelings
might change as we get to have more
experiences.

parable, I am going to divide you into
five groups with seven members each.
The whole group will present their
answers for the following questions in
the front.

1. If you were one of the colors,

what would you be? Why?
2. What is the change that

their skills may it be big or small.

9. Abstraction

Is it good to compare our self to others? It is never a good thing to compare

Why? Why not? one’s self to others because first of all,
you are born differently and you are not
the same as other people. You have
your own challenges to face, journey to
thrive and that you should only focus on
yourself.

The only person you must compare

yourself to is the person you were

revealed by their words and reactions
at the beginning of the story.
Remember the two kinds of characters:

complex personalities

Decide who among the characters is
round or flat. Cite lines or characters’

11. Generalization

What have you learned in this lesson?

Today’s lesson taught us that everyone
has special role and that we should not
compare one another.

It made us recognize how truly unique

we are as individuals in this world.

A valuable lesson that I learned about

the parable is when it talked about
rainbow as a symbol of hope. It truly is
because rainbow only comes after the
rain. In other words, even in times of
struggles, hope always awaits at the
end of the tunnel.
