    Particulars About Membership

    Any Export Promotion Council or Commodity Board or any Authority or any


    other institution set up or sponsored by Government of Indian or State Government for
    purposes of Export Promotion, Export Credit, Export Training and Specialization,
    Export Packaging etc. or a Trade Association or a chamber of Commerce or any
    similar Organisation shall be eligible to become an ordinary member of the Federation.
    All applications for Ordinary Membership of the Federation should be duly
    proposed by another Ordinary Member of FIEO , except in the case of EP Councils,
    Commodity Boards and Authorities, Govt. Sponsored Organization made in writing to
    the Director General who shall place such application before the President, FIEO
    Managing Committee. The decision of the Managing Committee to admit or to refuse
    an applicant firm to the Membership of the Federation shall be final.

    Each category member shall pay for every year a subscription as here under:-

    a) Export Promotion Council, Commodity Board, or an Authority


    or any other Institutions set up or sponsored by the Government
    of India or State Government for purposes of Export Promotion,
    Export Credit, Export Training and specialization, Export Packaging
    etc. Rs.6250/-

    b) Trade Association or Chamber of Commerce or similar


    Organisations Rs.6250/-

    In Addition, a new Member/re-admission of member is required to pay


    Rs.1000/-as entrance fee. In addition to this service tax @ 15% will be payable
    by all members.
