OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR EXTINGUISHING PANEL

(EST 3X-SFS1)
NORMAL CONDITION:
 The Green Indicator Illuminate (Power ON LED)
 All other LED's OFF

FIRE ALARM CONDITION:


AUTOMATIC CONDITION
FIRST STAGE FIRE CONDITION
 Red Fire Alarm Indicator Lit.
 Alarm Information Visible on LCD Display
(Custom Message with Cross Zone Number)
 First Cross Zonal Fire Indicator Lit
 Indicate Fire on Main FACP
 Alarm Bells Activated
 HVAC System Will be Shutdown
 Fire Alarm Signal will Transmit to SAS / SCADA
 If there is no Fire or False Alarm press the Silence button and then Reset. If the Bell working
again Press Alarm Silence, Call Maintenance Engineer and put System on Manual Mode by
operating the Key Maintenance Switch

SECOND STAGE / PRE-RELEASE FIRE CONDITION (CONFIRMED FIRE)


 Any Detector from second Zone in Alarm Condition.
 Alarm Information Visible on LCD Display
(Custom Message with Cross Zone Number)
 Second Cross Zonal Fire Indicator Lit
 Pre-Release Indicator Lit
 Pre- Release Horn/Strobe’s Activated during Pre-Release Stage
 The delay timer Built-in in the system shall be Energized (30 Second Delay)
 Gas will Release Automatically in the Protected Area after 30 Second Delay
 Gas Release Signal will Transmit to SAS / SCADA

NOTE:
 Press FECP Reset Button during the Pre-Release delay time & Put System on Manual Mode by
operating the Key Maintenance Switch if there is no actual Fire or to stop the Gas to Release.
 Please Note Pre-Release Horn/Strobe can’t be Silence / Stop during Pre-Release Condition.

ABORT SWITCH OPERATION DURING PRE-RELEASE FIRE CONDITION


 Pressing the ABORT during Pre-Release delay time to Hold the Gas Release
 Evacuate if any person in the Protected Area & close the Door
 When Abort Switch Restore / Release, Delay Timer will Reset & Commence from Zero.
Release occurs upon the expiration of the Timer setting (30 second) minus 10 second

NOTE:
 Press FECP Reset Button during the Pre-Release delay time & Put System on Manual Mode by
operating the Key Maintenance Switch if there is no actual Fire or to stop the Gas to Release.
MANUAL RELEASE STATION OPERATION
Upon Operation of Manual Release Button:
 Alarm Information Visible on LCD Display
 Manual Release Fire Indicator Lit
 All Stages Alarm Will Operate (Horn/Strobe & Bell)
 The delay timer Built-in in the system shall be Energized (30 Second Delay)
 Indicate Fire On Main FACP
 HVAC System Will be Shutdown
 Gas will Release Automatically in the Protected Area After 30 Second Delay
 Gas Release Signal will Transmit to SAS / SCADA

NOTE:
 Abort Switch or Key Maintenance Switch shall not work to hold Gas Release during Manual
Release Operation.

ALARM SILENCE BUTTON


 Press Alarm Silence Button
 All Audible Notification Appliances will Turn off Except Pre-Release Stage Notification
Appliances.
 Alarm Silence LED will indicate Alarm Silence
 Pressing Alarm Silence Button Second Time turn the Notification Appliances back on
 If False Alarm, Pre-Release Horn/Strobe can be Silenced by pressing Abort Station and press
Reset Button from the FECP Panel.

PANEL SILENCE BUTTON


 To silence the panel: Press Panel Silence. The LED indicate that Panel Silence is Active. The Panel
buzzer automatically re-sound on any new event or within 24hours if there are no new events.

SYSTEM RESET BUTTON


 Press Reset Button
 The LED flashes while the control panel is resetting, and then turns off.
 The System will restore to Normal state provided all latched inputs have been restored before
end of the reset cycle. Active Alarm signal will remain active if initiating devices have not been
restored before the end of the reset cycle.

NOTE:
 Press FECP Reset Button during the Pre-Release delay time & Put System on Manual Mode by
operating the Key Maintenance Switch if there is no actual Fire or to stop the Gas to Release.

FAULT CONDITION
 Yellow Indicator Will illuminate with working internal Buzzer
 Press Panel Silence Button to Acknowledge the Trouble
 Call the Maintenance Engineer

NOTE
 All Control Panels are in the Network System; all events will be displayed in the Main
Control Panel. It can operate also the Buttons for Acknowledge, Silence Alarm, Panel
Silence and Reset Button.
 IN CASE OF MAINTENANCE TURN THE KEY MAINTEANCE SWITCH ON MANUAL MODE TO
DEACTIVATE THE AUTOMATIC OPERATION PARTICULAR FECP.
