1.Vission
A leading “glocal” University with widened academic perspectives that focus on
attaining food security, supporting poverty alleviation, developing renewable energy, and
conserving natural environment.
2.Mission
SDSSU shall provide competency-based higher education training driven by relevant
and responsive instruction, research, extension and sustainable resource management.
3. Goals
These are the specific goals in the four (4)-fold functions of the University:
KRA 1.
Instruction
Develop highly competent, globally competitive, and morally upright graduates.
KRA 2.
Research
Produce research for the advancement of knowledge, new technology and
innovative approaches for competitive endeavors.
KRA 3.
Extension
Empower the rural poor to improve their lives through transfer of technologies
and knowledge.
KRA 4.
Production
Sustain University operations through viable and profitable income generating
projects.
4.Objectives
Focuses on attaining food security, supporting poverty alleviation, developing renewable energy and
conserving natural resources. SDSSU shall provide competency-based higher education training driven
by relevant and responsive instruction, research, extension and sustainable resource management.
5. Core Values
Competence
A combination of observable and measurable knowledge, skills, abilities, and
personal attributes that contribute to enhance SDSSU employee and student
performance and ultimately result in organizational success.

Responsibility for own actions, decisions, and commitment
to accomplish work
in an ethical, efficient, cost-effective and transparent manner manifesting the value of
sound stewardship in the wise use of resources for common good.
Responsiveness
A prompt action, consistent communication, quality information, and a focus on
providing a superior experience to stakeholders.
6. Quality Policy
The Surigao del Sur State University commits itself to produce highly motivated,
globally competitive, and morally upright human resource through the delivery of
transformative and quality higher education that conforms to international standards driven
by excellent instruction, relevant researches, sustainable extension and production services.
Together with our stakeholders, we shall endeavor for continual improvement of our
quality management system in consonance with statutory

clients and industry satisfaction for quality of life.
B: Analysis. My Direction in Life

1.What do you want to do or experience in your life?
Due to covid-19, the school across the world is the shift toward online classes.
My online learning experience is completely different than what I am used to doing in

the physical classroom.
No doubts online classes are a good method of teaching.
But, I like to be in a physical classroom than an online learning environment.
As soon as lockdown started in our country.
The government had directed that during the lockdown, the teachers should teach us
at home.
So that students can continue their studies from home.
Our teachers started online classes to continue the studies of students. each and every
teacher is given his/her best to make our concept clear.
Every student is not able to use electronic devices effectively, I’m also one of them.
But, after some time I’m familiar with this and can able to use it according to my needs.
And my teacher has been really working hard to improving the interface and quality
of online lectures.
Teachers are also put a lot of effort into teaching their students.
The teacher interacts with students in a very cool and interesting manner. that interacts
more and more students towards online classes.
2. What do you want to accomplish in your life?
. My achievements are the best moments in my life. Each of my achievement

has signified that I have accomplished something.
That accomplishment has made the people around me proud especially my
parents.
My achievements have made me the person I am today and they form an

integral part of my life even if I merely have memories of them.

ANS:
Yes, it is my responsibility as a student of SDSSU Because I want to achieve my goals for the

Yes, specific EXAMPLE like passion, honestly, loyalty, positivity, commitment

Yes, Because according to the purposes it may seem so clear to the student to apply it.
