    Utilities = 0.3 KPa

    b. Live load
    Residential = 2.0 KPa
    Roof = 1.0 KPa

    2. Materials

    a. Concrete:
    Compressive strength, fc’ = 28 MPa
    Unit weight = 23.6 kN/m3

    b. Reinforcement:
    Tensile strength, fy = 275 MPa

    2. Soil
    Bearing Capacity = 200 KPa (assumed)

    3. Seismic

    Minimum requirements as per UBC Code
    Where V = Base Shear
