3RD SUNDAY OF EASTER

MAY 8TH, 2011
PRAYERS FOR THE DECEASED: We pray for our loved ones who have died recently.
PRAYERS FOR THE SICK AND SHUT-IN: “Let us raise up in prayer those who seek God’s healing
love, those at the hospital, hospice and at home especially Elva Curry and Rita Boldt.
May your struggle be consoled by Christ’s love“.
CHILDREN’S BULLETINS: Parents, please note that the Children’s Bulletins are now on the table at the back
of the church and will no longer be given at the Children’s Liturgy. Please encourage your children to pick up
a weekly copy and enjoy it throughout the week.

Our parish is so fortunate to have such wonderful people who help out with their time and baking talents so that we may
continue to make our parish supper a great community event.
REMINDER: Food donation and volunteer sheets for the Parish Supper are to be filled in and returned to the
Parish by Sunday, May 15th. The more sheets the convenors receive, the less phone calls they will have to
make! If you did not get a sheet with last week’s bulletin, there are extras at the entrances to the church

To date approximately 1919 books have been distributed and some monies returned. Thank you for
your tremendous ongoing support!! We are requesting that all outstanding tickets, sold or unsold, be
returned via the collection baskets or the church office by May 29 th. This gives us two weeks before
the draw to sell any that are left. To all who have worked so hard to help us reach our goal of a sell-
out...the volunteers, the buyers, and the sellers, your dedication to the Parish is to be commended and
we thank you for making our job easy. For more tickets or information please call...
