has a big campus with a green

CLASSROOM FACILITIES MATRIX

Classroom Facilities Description
(Location, number, arrangement, condition)
Wall Displays The wall displays are informative. The learning
aids and resources on and around wall display
helps the students to learn independently. The
wall displays exciting & Creative. The colour
bis good,it encourage the students to use more
colour as a staple when taking notes. You’ll be
surprised at how quickly they start absorbing
new information. Students also used the
display as a source of ideas for other activities.
They actively made connections between the
ideas already posted and the current tasks they
were undertaking. For example, students took
work from the display and used the
information to craft questions for a science quiz.
Teacher’s Table Teachers typically place their desks at the front
of the classroom. Being in the front of the class
affords the teacher a good view of the students'
faces, there are advantages to placing the
teacher's desk at the back. Sitting at the back of
the classroom, the teacher has less of a chance
of blocking the students' view of the board.
Additionally, less motivated students generally
choose to sit in the back of the class. Proximity
to those students can help the teacher more
easily forestall discipline problems. Finally, if a
student needs help from the teacher, she might
feel less intimated by not being highly visible in
front of the classroom if the teacher's desk is at
the front.
Learner’s Desks The arrangement of the students desks is
straight lines, according to the teacher: This is
the most common arrangement. In a typical
class, you might have five rows of six students.
The benefit of this method is that it allows the
teacher to walk between the rows. The
drawback is that it doesn't really allow for
collaborative work.
Blackboard The blackboard is flat. The flatness’ of the
chalkboard help the clear vision of the writings
and also it helps the writing to be smooth. The
board placed where it can be visible to all
students. The best place is in front of the class
where it can be visible to all students. The
board is wide enough to occupy enough
content to be presented instead of rubbing it all
the time and the students fail to connect the
concepts explained. The position of the
blackboard from the direction of the light is
considered. This is to avoid reflection of light
which may affect the appearance letters on the
blackboard.
Learning Materials/Visual Aids Instructional materials in this classroom
encourage students to utilize higher order
thinking skills and to become informed
decision-makers, to exercise freedom of thought
and to make independent judgments through
examination and evaluation of relevant
information, evidence and differing viewpoint.

OBSERVATION REPORT

Upon entering the classroom, you will see a active and colorful classroom
focusing on the children and their learning. In the classroom is print rich and
includes a variety of library which includes items from various kinds as well as
words category each item so that children have a variety of opportunities for
reading. Materials in this classroom are age applicable. There is a large area with
a mat which is used as our meeting/center time area and students are seated in
groups so that they have opportunities to work collaboratively with their peers.
Teacher provided mulitple opportunities for students to guide their own
learning and for self-discovery when they participate in whole group activities
and individual activities such as middle time. The teacher, stand-in and guide
each student’s learning. You will see students working independently, in small
groups, or in large groups. Students work will be displayed in the classroom so
that they feel a sense of self-importance for their activities. It is the hope that all
students will feel comfortable in this learning environment so that they will
become successful members of society.

ANALYZE
How do the school campus and the classroom in particular impact on the learning of
the students going to school? What are your conclusions?
Answer: The school campus and classroom should be covered in an environment that is
conducive to learning. This is due to the fact that the school is a community in which
they must learn. If the environment is a little disorganized and everything appears to be
out of place, it will be a challenge for the pupils. Instead of learning, students will
acquire a headache as a result of this common setup. Because it is their right, school
should be filled with a peaceful and caring community. According to my observations,
the Pasandalan Elementary School's facility and classrooms are of a good standard.
They have a lot of active students, therefore it's safe to assume that they're happy with
what the school has to offer. According to my observations on that day, the surroundin
gs are nicely maintained.

How does this relate to your knowledge of facilitating learning?

Answer: When it comes to child and adolescent development, they should be growing
up in a community where they can learn freely without being coerced by others. This is
a typical school that cares about the well-being of its students. Observing the
environment, the school is attempting to provide them with the best amenities that the
administration can provide. The faculties do everything they can to make their lessons
as easy as possible for the students. This school tries to observe the rights of the
students as well as the rights of children and young people as much as possible.

REFLECT
Would you like to teach in the school environment you just observed? Why? Why not?
Answer: In a broader sense,Yes, I would most likely teach at the aforementioned school.
In terms of materials, I'd say the school is well-equipped. Teachers and other
administrators are really accommodating, which may provide a boost in pursuing my
passion in instructing young minds. Students are misbehaving, but with the right tools,
they can simply be taught. If I do go out there and teach, it should be an interesting and
enjoyable experience!
What kind of school campus is conducive to learning?
Answer: Based on what I saw and learned, a school campus can be conducive if it has
the amenities that the school requires for its pupils, such as extra training grounds for
students to put their minds and skills to the test. Along with this, there is a well-
organized campus that is free of any components that could disrupt the kids' learning
process.
In the future, how can you accomplish your answer in number two?
Answer: If I will become a teacher, I'll make sure I have all I need. I don't like going out
into the school without any learning tactics or objectives for my students. I want the
learner to have the best possible learning experience. Being young is a once-in-a-lifetime
opportunity, which is why I want to be the best version of myself.
Write your additional learning and insights.
Answer: This type of encounter teaches me something that I didn't have access to
during my college years. It gave me an understanding of what a teacher's life is like,
how important it is to reach out to young minds, and how a teacher should be more
attentive to her or his students' needs. The teachers are in charge of whatever the pupil
will become. Teachers play an important role in their development, and they should be
more conscious of this. Many things were clear to me as a result of this experience,
including children's rights, how they should be treated, and how the school operates. At
this point, I could argue that teaching is a difficult yet noble career.
My Personal Illustration of an Effective School
Environment

“The Students”

Student life is full of fun,

Work and play.
Their day begins with a prayer,
And ends with play.

They go to school with a heavy bag on their back,

And water bottles in their hand.
They sit in the class and toil all day,
And learn about millipedes that coil all day.

They study all day,

And are bright like the sun-ray.
They can even swim,
Like the fish on sea-bay.

Studies develop brainpower,

Sports develop willpower.
They can do both,
Without any pain!

They use pens,

They use papers.
They can draw many things,
And make many colorful rings.

But when March month comes,

They study all day.
They work for appreciation,
And sacrifice lot of recreation.
