Connecting the Philippines and Korea, and activities to ensure that many exchanges

DISASTER RESPONSE AND RELIEF OPERATION

(AND EMERGENCY AND DISASTER MANAGEMENT TRAINING)
Over the past 30 years, rescue and rescue activities (21year in PHILIPPINES)
have been directly carried out at the site of a disaster (natural disaster) in the Philippines to rescue
precious lives and directly support victims at the crossroads of survival.
Rescue and relief efforts through cooperation with Korean rescue teams: Hope Bridge, Mill Al,
Humane in Love, World Christian Federation, etc.
Type of Disaster :
Typhoon: Pablo , Yolanda, Sandong,Ondoy.
Landslide: Mount Guinsaogon.
Earthquake: Cebu, Bohol, And Oriental Negros.
Volcano : Taal , Tagaytay
IMPLEMENTATION OF SAFETY EDUCATION AND DISASTER

PREPAREDNESS EDUCATION FOR KOREAN RESIDENTS
A disaster and safety preparation manual for the safety of Korean citizens was
produced and contributed to the safety of Korean residents.
Continued from 2015 to the present: incident, accident prevention, water
safety manual, typhoons, earthquakes, tsunamis, tropical diseases.
Embassy Auditorium, Manila and all parts of the Philippines: Antipolis, Salang,
Tagaytay, Iloilo, Palawan, Cebu, Baguio, Davao and Central Luzon.
During the Taal Volcano eruption in January-February 2020, the Korean Residents'
Safety Countermeasures Committee was organized to help projects of Korean
residents.
Cordinate with PHILIPPINES COAST GUARD(Executive Director) : Cebu, Bohol affected
by Typhoon Odette (December 2021) of the Aegean Drinking Water Support Project
(for 1 month).
Commemorative (PEFTOK Veterans Association)
As an PEFTOK Veterans Association, Inc. (PVAI), he visited living veterans and

their families to thank them, and held various events to support their
descendants.
New Veterans, free presentation of each month, in delivering on its
mugwanbu Veteran South Korea to convey the gratitude of their children, and
scholarship supported.
Lead the national television, and the Philippines and family 10 minutes - at the
end of the Korean War veteran team.
Visit Korea and participate in the documentary "Korean War and Participation"
on the Philippine National Broadcasting System. Through a program called "The
Warrior," we show the Philippines our people's appreciation for the soldiers who
participated in the Korean War 70 years later.
From June 28 to July 2, 2019, 35 people, including the documentary team of the
Philippine Broadcasting Station, visited Imjingak, the War Memorial, the
Memorial Tower, the Church of the Congregation of Korea, Nami Island, and
Gyeongbokgung Palace.

In charge of the funeral of the late Korean citizen of Ji Ik-ju, who was killed by
