    EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 25, S-2020

    AN EXECUTIVE ORDER REORGANIZING AND REACTIVATION OF THE


    BARANGAY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL
    Whereas, Section 106 of the Local Government Code of 1991 provides that each local government unit shall
    have a comprehensive multi-sectoral development councils and approved by its Sanggunian;

    Whereas, in order for this barangay to comply with this mandate, there is a need for the reactivation and
    reorganization of the Barangay Development Council to assist the Barangay in seething the direction of the economic
    and social development as well as coordinating development efforts within the Barangay;

    NOW THEREFORE, I, RENE G. DAYANDANTE, Punong Barangay of Banggot, Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya, by virtue
    of the powers vested in me by law, hereby organized the Barangay Development Council of this Barangay composed of
    the following:

    Section 1: COMPOSITION OF BARANGAY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL

    Chairperson: Hon. Rene G. Dayandante, Punong Barangay


    Members: Hon. Carmelita G. Roque, Brgy. Kagawad
    Hon. Norma V. Laguisma, Brgy. Kagawad

    Section 2: FUNCTIONS. The BDC shall perform the following:

    1. Mobilize people’s participation in local development efforts


    2. Prepare barangay development plans based on local requirements
    3. Monitor and evaluate the implementation of national or local programs and projects
    4. Perform such other functions as may be provided by law or competent authority

    Section 3: SECRETARIAT. The Barangay Secretary shall head the Secretariat of the Barangay
    Development Council.

    Section 4. EFFECTIVITY. This Order shall take effect immediately.
