k. Multiplies a fraction and a whole number and another fraction. (SS)
l. Multiplies mentally proper fractions with denominators up to 10. (SS)
m. Solves routine or non -routine problems involving multiplication without or with addition or subtraction of fractions and whole numbers
using appropriate problem solving strategies and tools. (PS)
n. Shows that multiplying a fraction by its reciprocal is equal to 1. (SS)
o. Visualizes division of fractions. (SS)
p. Divides simple fractions and whole numbers by a fraction and vice versa. (SS)
q. Solves routine or non -routine problems involving division without or with any of the other operations of fractions and whole numbers using
appropriate problem solving strategies and tools. (PS)
Grading System: Grades will be assessed on the following basis:
50% - Written works – include tests, quizzes, First Monthly Exam and First Quarterly Exam
