ASSEMBLING THE BODY

Once you have finished knitting the front and back panels, you need to
assemble the pieces together before moving on to the collar and sleeves.

Place your front and back panels on top of each other, wrong sides
together.
With your sewing needle and a long string of wool, use the horizontal
invisible seam technique* to sew up the shoulder seams and side seams.
For the shoulder seams: start at the outside corner and sew until you
reach the decreases of the neckline.
For the side seams: use the vertical invisible seam technique* to sew the
bottom ribbing up towards the underarm approx. 30cm/12” (30cm/12”)
34cm/13” (36cm/14”), or to your preference.
Do a quick try-on to make sure your head and arms can easily fit through
the openings! Weave in any loose ends.

THE COLLAR & SLEEVES
Once the body pieces have been assembled, you are now ready to knit the collar and sleeves!

your head can fit through the newly knit collar! If it’s just a
little snug, I wouldn’t panic as it will likely loosen overtime
depending on your chosen fiber.

SLEEVES
Both sleeves are worked by picking up stitches along the arm openings and
worked in the round. Work the following steps a total of 2 times.
With 15mm/US 19 needles, pick up 24 (24) 28 (30) stitches along the
armhole and place a stitch marker between the first and last stitch. The
stitch marker will remind you when you're starting a new row.
Work in stockinette stitch until your sleeve length reaches approx. 39cm
(39.5) 40 (40.5) from the armhole opening or your desired length.
Next row: *Knit 1, knit 2 together*. Repeat from * to * until there are 0 (0)
1 (3) stitches left in the round. Knit any remaining stitches.
Knit 1 row. You should have 16 (16) 20 (22) stitches.
Switch to size 12mm/US 17 needles. Work 7 rows of 1x1 ribbing and cast
off. Remember to switch to your accent color before casting off if you
chose to knit a contrasting edge.
