cuisine, can be categorized within the broader snack or dessert segment. Turon is a popular
Filipino street food and dessert made by wrapping sliced bananas in spring roll wrappers, often
with additional ingredients such as jackfruit and brown sugar, and then deep-frying them until
crispy.
The market for banana spring rolls is primarily focused on Filipino cuisine and its
enthusiasts, both within the Philippines and in Filipino communities around the world. Turon is
widely consumed as a snack or dessert in the Philippines and is often sold by street vendors, in
food stalls, or in Filipino restaurants.
The popularity of Filipino cuisine has been increasing globally, with a growing interest
in exploring different flavors and cultural experiences. As a result, Filipino food, including
desserts like Turon, has gained attention and become more widely available in various markets.
In addition to the traditional banana and brown sugar filling, there have been variations

and different fruit fillings. These variations cater to different tastes and preferences, attracting a
broader consumer base beyond the Filipino community.

Product/ Service Description
Figure 1
Image of Turon Me On
The Turon with ube fillings is a Filipino dessert made by wrapping slices of ripe plantains
and ube halaya in spring roll wrappers and deep-frying then until crispy. The result is a
deliciously sweet and crunchy treat with a creamy, and flavorful filling which is ube. Ube, on the
other hand, is a purple yam commonly used in filipino desserts as a sweet filling. Combining the
two result in a delicious and unique twist on the classic Turon. The combination of sweet banana
and the rich ube filling create a perfect balance of flavors. It's a must-try for anyone looking to
explore the filipino cuisine. Our Turon starts with carefully selected, perfectly ripe bananas,
ensuring a natural sweetness that shines through with each bite. The bananas are then delicately
wrapped in a thin, golden-brown spring roll wrapper, creating a tantalizing contrast of soft and
crispy elements.
When cooked to perfection, our Turon boasts a crunchy exterior that encases the soft,
tender banana within. As you take your first bite, you'll experience the delightful crackle of the
wrapper followed by the smooth, luscious banana filling that's enhanced by its natural
caramelization.
