sentence. Adverb tells how, when and where is use the verb in the sentence. Watch the
video discussion to have a better understanding on the topic. Example is given below.
Adverb are words that describe when, where and how actions are done.
Examples:
Jeren played yesterday.
It talks about time when he played. The adverb there is YESTERDAY.
My mother runs fast.
It talks about manner how the mother run. The adverb there is FAST.

USING ADVERBS OF MANNER IN MAKING COMPARISONS
The Adverb of manner is used to compare how an action is done. The suffix
–er or –est is added to the adverb to show the comparison. The words more
and most also added to adverbs with three or more syllables.
Examples:
The cat jumped high.
The cat jumped higher than the dog.
The cat jumped highest among the tree.
NOTE: With adverbs ending in -ly, you must use more to form the
comparative, and most to form the superlative.
