As a supervisor and lead teacher, I take
professionalism, safety, and ethics seriously. I hold my
colleagues accountable and will write my staff up if
there are violations. We debrief daily and we
communicate as a team regarding what safety for staff
and students looks like. If I need to exercise my right
as a mandated reporter, I will. Students with special
needs are often mistreated or misunderstood, and I
need those around me to protect and support the
children we serve in our community. (7/2023).

I currently have my mandated reporter certificate,

CPR certificate, and Alternate ELPAC examiner
certifications. I abide by the Spectrum Employee
handbook and adhere to the teacher code of ethics to
maintain the integrity of my class, campus, and as a
trusted educator. (fall, 2023).

I have reread through the SELPA manual, taken SEIS

training courses, renewed my CPR license, am up to
date on my mandated reporter license, written
through incident reports, and followed a checklist to
ensure I complete all parts of the IEP when writing
them. I also will ask questions when I am unsure of
something or need support. 5/3/24
