INTRODUCTION:
Auto CAD is a powerful computer-aided design (CAD) software developed by Auto-

Desk.It's like a digital drafting board where you can draw everything from simple
shapes to complex buildings or machines. AutoCAD is commonly used by architects,
engineers, and designers to create precise plans and blueprints for things like
buildings, bridges, cars, and more. It's a handy tool for bringing ideas to life and
making detailed drawings with accuracy.
AutoCAD can be customized to meet the specific needs and preferences of

individual users, making it a flexible tool for various design projects. The
objective of AutoCAD is to provide a powerful and flexible tool for creating
and modifying technical drawings and designs, and to improve the efficiency
and accuracy of design projects in a variety of fields.

BASIC PARTS OF AUTOCAD:
1. APPLICATION MENU:
It is located on the top left corner of the AutoCAD window. The application
menu in AutoCAD serves as a central navigation tool for accessing commands,
managing files, customizing settings, and getting help.
2. QUICK ACCESS TOOL BAR:
Quick Access Toolbar in AutoCAD provides a convenient way to access

frequently used commands and tools. It's a customisable toolbar located at
the top of the AutoCAD window, typically above the ribbon interface.
3. RIBBON:
The ribbon is the horizontal array of panels containing buttons that allows to
access tools in AutoCAD. It eliminates the need to display multiple toolbars
reducing clutter in the application and maximizing the area available.

4. CROSSHAIR:
Crosshair is a primary cursor used to draw with the software.
5. WORKSPACE:
The area to create 2D and 3D drawings, models, and objects. Different

commands are used according to the requirements.
6. USCICON:
At the bottom left corner of the working space we can see an L-shaped line.
This is the User Coordinate System (USC) icon that tells us orientation in the
drawing. This icon helps us during our work by indicating the x-axis and y-axis
of the drawing.
7. TOGGLE KEYS:
At the bottom right, status bar displays the drawing tools. It provides quick
access to most commonly used drawing tools.
8. COMMAND WINDOW:
At the bottom of the screen, just above the status bar, is a small horizontal
window called the Command window. Here, AutoCAD displays responses
to our input while we’re using a command. By default, it shows one line of
text. This line shows the current responses to our command input as well as
command options.
PAGE SETTING:
TO CHANGE THE BACKGROUND:
-Type ‘OP’ command and press ‘enter’ or ‘space bar’.

-Click on the Display option.
-To change the background color, select the color option and change
the color.
TO CHANGE CROSSHAIR SIZE:
-Type ‘OP’ and enter.

-Change the size of crosshair as per requirement.
TO CHANGE APERTURE SIZE:
-Enter ‘OP’ commend.

-Select Drafting option and change to the desired size.
TO SET THE UNIT:
-Enter the ‘UN’ command’

-Select the unit and precision according to requirement.
TO CHANGE PICKBOX AND GRIP SIZE:
-Enter ‘OP’ command.

-Click on ‘SELECTION’ option and change to desired size.
TO AUTO SAVE THE FILE:
-Enter ‘OP’ command.

-Click on ‘Open and Save’.
-Select ‘Automatic save’ checkbox.
-Enter a number in ‘Minutes between save’.
-Click on ‘OK’ to save.
TO SAVE THE DRAWING ON LOWER VERSION:
-Enter ‘OP’ command and click on ‘Open and Save’.

-Click ‘Save as’ and a dialogue box will appear.
-Select the lowest version and click ‘Apply’ and ‘OK’.

INSTALLATION PROCESS:
 Install AutoDesk AutoCAD2017 from the setup file.

 hen insert the serial number.
 Enter the product key.
 Finish the installation and restart the AutoDesk product.
 Turn off the Real time protection on the device.
 Click on activate.
 Select I have an activation code from AutoDesk.
 On the activation screen start XFORCE Keygen 64bits version from the
crack file.
 Click on patch.
 When it is successfully patched, copy the request code into the keygen
and press generate.
 Copy the activation code back to the activation screen and press next.
 Finally, the AutoCAD is successfully installed.
