    Pursuant to the provisions of DILG-NEDA-DBM-DOF Joint Memorandum Circular


    No. 1 Series of 2016 dated November 18, 2016 (Updated Guidelines on the
    Harmonization of Local Planning, Investment Programming, Resource Mobilization,
    Budgeting, Expenditure Management, and Performance Monitoring and Coordination
    in Fiscal Oversight), we are pleased to inform you that the Barangay Budget
    Operations Manual 2018 Edition by the Department of Budget and Management
    (DBM) is now ready for roll-out to all Local Government Units (LGUs).

    The DBM Region VI in coordination with the Association of Local Budget Officers
    in Region VI will conduct a series of two (2) day Seminar-Workshop on Budget
    Operations Manual for Barangays to be attended by the Local Finance Committee
    Members (LPDC, LBO, Treasurer), Accountant and SB/P Chairman, Committee on
    Appropriations and other personnel involve in Local Finance, Accounting and
    Appropriation on May 16-17, 2019 at Smallville 21 Hotel, Diversion Road, Iloilo
    City. Participation of an accredited Civil Society Organization (CSO) representative/s
    from your LGU is highly encouraged.

    A registration fee of P 4,000.00 for two (2) days will be assessed per participant as
    authorized under NBC No. 563, chargeable against LGU funds.
