Detailed Lesson Plan


in Music 4 SC-13 Teaching Music In the Elementary Grade
Prepaired by: Jon Nikko S. Nicdao

I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to;
a) recognize the use of the symbol p (piano) and f (forte)
b) perform a song applying the p (piano) and f (forte) through singing; and
c) participate willingly in class activities.

A. Topic: Dynamics: The Forte and Piano.
B. References: Musika at Sining 4, Page 99-103.
C. Materials: Song Chart, Visual Aid, Video, Speaker, Laptop, Music,
Manila Paper, Marker

1. Greetings
“Good Morning, class!” “Good Morning, Sir!”
“May I request everyone to stand for our ( The student will stand and start Praying )
prayers..”
“Ohh God….. Amen”
“Once again, good morning!”
“Good Morning Sir, Nikko!”

“ I hope you’re doing well and ready to make


the most of our time together today.”
2. Checking of Attendance
“Class monitor, kindly confirm the
attendance of your fellow classmate.” “Everybody is present, Sir!”
“Excellent”
3. Setting of Classroom Standards
“As we’re about to start our lesson, I want
you to ready our classroom standards so that
our discussion can run smoothly.”
“Everyone please read our classroom
standards.” ( All student’s will read the classroom
standards ) “Classroom Rules”
Listen attentively.
Sit Properly.
Raise your hand if you want to answer.
Teamwork and collaboration.
“So, are we all ready to follow these
standards and make our classroom an
amazing place to learn and grow?”
“Yes, Sir!”
“That’s the spirit!

B. Motivation.
Okay class do you want to play a game?

I have here a picture all you need to do is to
guess what is in the picture you make sound
in it.
But first I will group you into 2 groups and
form one line to each group.
( The student will grouped themselves )

C. Presentation
“The activity we had earlier has something to
do with our lesson today”
“Who can guess our topic today? Anyone?”

Our topic for today will be all about sound

“But before we proceed to our discussion


let’s have first our objectives, kindly read
everyone.”

At the end of the lesson, the student will be

D. Discussion
So, again class our topic for today is
dynamics. But we are focusing the two
elements which are the f (forte) and p (piano).
Now let us read what is Dynamics.

Alibangbang”.
(The Teacher will play the song)

Translation:
Ang paruparo ay lumilipad-lipad
Sa mga daan, kumikembot-kembot
Sutla ang saya, bordado ang kamison (The pupils will listen the played song)

May panyo sa leeg na parang nasa Paris

Ang dalaga ay inihalintulad sa isang


paruparo kung kumilos at manamit.
E. Application
Now we will have a group activity. I will
group you into two (2) groups.

All you need to do is you will present a song


that has a forte and piano.
You performance will be guided to this
following rubrics.
