• IMPROVED AIRWAY STRINGING


On an AIRWAYS page:
Up to 5 airways may be inserted in a row
When an airway is entered, the pilot may:
– Enter the exit waypoint, or
– Enter a second airway
• Automatic selection of a waypoint common to 2 airways
• If no common waypoint, computation of intersection, if it exists

• FIX INFO FUNCTION (Basic LR, SA option) 1/2


Radial Intercept
– Enter the reference waypoint and radial
– The system computes the intersection between the radial and
the flight plan (information available on the FIX INFO page)
– This waypoint may be inserted in the flight plan, or
the radial line kept for display

Abeam Point
