Freskenzyklus

Die has part(s) (P527)-Aussagen in cycle of frescoes (Q16905550), die konkrete Zyklen als Objekt haben, sind – meine ich – nicht korrekt. Es handelt sich zum Beispiel bei Paintings of the Months in Palazzo Schifanoia (Q548688) nicht um eine part of (P361)–has part(s) (P527)-Beziehung sondern um eine subclass of (P279)–superclass-Beziehung. Ich bitte um Entschuldigung für die späte Antwort! Zu den von mir angesprochenen has part(s) (P527)-Aussagen in cycle of frescoes (Q16905550), die konkrete Zyklen als Objekt haben, hast Du nichts gesagt. Ich habe sie jetzt jedenfalls entfernt.

Du hast hingegen meine Änderung in cycle of paintings (Q16905563) angesprochen. Während es keine Oberklasse-Eigenschaft gibt, stattdessen has part(s) (P527) zu verwenden, halte ich für keine gute Idee. Ich beließe es deshalb lieber bei meiner Entfernung der Aussage.

Editions

Bonjour Oursana, d'après les recommandations de Help:Sources, il faut créer un élément différent pour désigner une oeuvre et pour désigner une édition particulière de cette oeuvre que l'on veut utiliser comme référence, même lorsque c'est l'édition originale, et même lorsqu'il n'y a eu qu'une édition de l'oeuvre. Jamot and Wildenstein, Manet, catalogue critique, 1st edition (Q15619449) est donc bien une instance d'édition. IMHO a Wikipedia disambiguation page, also when listing paintings, can never be a subclass of painting, (one painting). "Disambiguation page" is defined by inclusion of some template, technically. But by content it can be of different senses. Here we have "disambiguation page" as a list of paintings. And I suppose that a list of paintings should have properties linking it to the painting. By P518 I've meant that at least some language versions can be fully considered as a list. Bonjour, j'ai ajouté "propriétaire : Huntington Library" avec rank = privlieged à l'élément sur le Blue Boy. Je ne trouve pas de source, et je ne sais pas si c'est juridiquement exact, mais c'est nécessaire d'avoir le propriétaire actuel avec rang privilégié parce que Wikidata a été activé dans le champ propriétaire de fr:Modèle:Infobox Art, et si on a pas ça on se retrouve avec la liste entière des propriétaires sur fr:L'Enfant bleu (Gainsborough), et c'est un peu trop long. --Zolo (talk) 07:15, 26 March 2015 (UTC)

Est limité la quantité des références? Je voudrais ajouter pour Duveen aussi le livre du dernier URL avec stated in (P248) et pages, mais je ne peux pas enregistrer.

Et il y a beaucoup des constraint violations p.e. parce que les expositions ne sont pas nommé comme expositions temporaires, mais IMHO sont désormais importantes

Hi Oursana, reverting back and forth is not helping, so I will just explain it here. If you see a painting and can't find the collection or disagree with the collection, please try to find the collection and add it. Please do not remove metadata from the item. In this case, the rkd disagrees with your statement that it is not in the collection. If you feel it is not in the collection, that does not make the statement in the rkd untrue. In this case I am very familiar with the actual collection of the less than 200 paintings of Bildergalerie Sanssouci. There has been published an actual catalogue as well as documentation of Google Cultural where you can check, that the painting is not within the collection. It is a mistake by rkd. You did not even search the actual catalogue. Only if you show me the catalogue entry supporting your opinion, you can revert me. THe catalogue from Bildergalerie in this case counts more than the rkd. By the way it is circle of ter Borch, what you mixed as well. Eigentlich

1. Aust/Kat wollte ich fragen, warum du bei der CDF-Ausstellung in Hamburg nur ein Item angelegt hast für die Ausstellung und den Katalog (dazu gleich), doch dann bin ich über diese Edits gestolpert, deren Sinn ich nicht ganz verstehe. Ich würde nicht gefragt haben, wenn es ein Einzelfall wäre, da man sich immer mal verklicken kann, aber gleich mehrfach? Das sieht nach einer Methode aus, die ich noch nicht kenne. Was hattest du da für eine Absicht? —

Was Ausstellung und Katalog angeht, bin ich der Auffassung, daß beides eigenständige Items sein sollten. Dafür gibt es mMn verschiedene Gründe. z.B. die Sprache des Kataloges weicht von der Sprache der Ausstellung ab oder die Katalognummer weicht von der Nummerierung der Hängung ab (gerade bei der van-Gogh-Ausstellung in Paris erlebt; dort entsprechen die Nummern der Ausstellung einem Dreizifferncode für die Bedienung der Audioführung, die nebenbei hoffnungslos überlastet war (tatsächlich war das dieselbe Ausstellung, die schon in Amsterdam zu sehen war, samt desselben englischen Katalogs; ich habe stichprobenweise den englischen mit dem französischen Katalog verglichen; es handelt sich defacto um eine Übersetzung). Und last but not least, wie bei der Van-Gogn-Ausstellung, es kann sein, daß die beiden vermutlich identischen Ausstellungen einen gemeinsamen Katalog haben, wenn auch räumlich bedingt sich die Hängung unterscheidet, es kann sein, daß einzelne Gemälde nur in einer der AUsstellung gezeigt werden und es kann sein, daß völlig individuelle Kataloge herausgegeben werden.

Ich mache das in der Tat immer so. Manche, die es so wie Du vorschlägst machen wollen, vergessen gerne den Katalog, dann lieber zusammen. Du kannst es gerne anders machen. Du musst selbst entscheiden, ob sich die erhebliche Mehrarbeit lohnt. Wenn Ausstellungen sehr unterschiedlich sind, brauchen sie sowieso verschiedene Datensätze, + Kataloge wären es zb bei Donatello 6, das ist schnell unübersichtlich, weil es ja alles aufeinander verweisen muss. Als Regel finde ich es schon gut, das zusammen zu lassen, begründete Ausnahmen sind was anderes. Argumente für zusammen ist Arbeitsersparnis und damit verbunden Übersichtlichkeit.

Bei Gesichter der Renaissance zB habe ich Exponate, die nur an einem Ort waren auf der Galerieseite gekennzeichnet. Macht man Ausst u Kat getrennt muss man Aust. und Kat. referenzieren, das wird bei vielen Ausstellungen nicht gut.

Bei CDF muss ich noch an den Katalog. Ich habe die Galerie nach der App sortiert. Ich glaube bei data noch nicht. Letzlich muss bei wikidata über Katalognummer, Katalog für jedes Bild eine Eintragung erfolgen, zB auch für Wolken u Licht Barberini, das schliesst die Ausstellungsteilnahme mit ein ohne weiteren Rattenschwanz. Ich bin gerne puristisch und ökonomisch. Mache gerne was Dich umtreibt.

2. scheinbare 0-edits

Da bin ich jetzt drauf gekommen, dass man so die Historien in die richtige Reihenfolge bekommt, zB Eigentümer, Sammlungen,Standorte, Schlüsselerignisse von mir aus auch Ausstellungen. Wir können die Reihenfolge ja sonst nicht beeinflussen und zusammen mit Fundstellen will das ja keiner neu eingeben und ist ja auch ein Fehlerpotential. Wenn Du es löscht und wiederherstellst, kommt es immer nach unten. Mit der Reihenfolge wie Du löscht bestimmst Du dann die Position. Manchmal fange ich es nur an bis der Weg klar ist und lass mir noch 1 oder 2 für ein anderes Mal, damit ich weiter komme, wenn Du Dir das noch mal insgesamt anguckst. Das ist ein Supertrick, da muß man erst einmal drauf kommen. Hut ab! Ärgerlich ist nur, daß es erstens auch Zeit kostet und zweitens die Versionsgeschichte ziemlich wirr aussehen läßt. Eigentlich sollte die Software solche Items, die durch Ordnungszahlen oder Datumsinformationen eine Reihenfolge vorgeben selbst dementsprechend sortieren. — Man müßte mal ausprobieren, was für Auswirkungen es hat, Katalog und Ausstellung kurz zu führen (also unter einem Item) bzw. wie sich etwa Abfragen bei Ausstellungen unterscheiden, bei denen es, wie von mir bei Wolken und Licht durchgezogen, eigenständige Items für Kat/Ausst gibt. Also lassen wir es vorerst gemeinsam und kucken dann, was passiert. Unklar ist übrigens auch der Titel des Katalogs. Amazon hat ihn mit Doppelpunkt, die DNB mit Punkt, die Verlagswerbung mit Gedankenstrich. Die Ausstellung scheint sich mit Punkt zu schreiben. Der Katalog ist im Moment vergriffen, Nachdruck ist für Ende Januar angekündigt. Grüße Matthiasb (talk) 14:10, 11 January 2024 (UTC)

Kunstdepot

Hallo, ich habe mir gerade ein schönes Buch mit dem Titel "Das Kunstdepot auf der Burg Hohenzollern - Wie Kunstschätze aus drei Kölner Museen den Krieg überlebten" gekauft. Du hast ja viel zu den verlorenen Bildern in den Flakbunkern Friedrichshain gemacht. Der konkrete Bunker scheint noch kein Wikidata-Item zu haben. Wie sieht es mit anderen Depots aus? Diverse Salzstollen, weitere Burgen etc? Ist Kunstdepot ein gängiger Begriff? Sollen wir ihn, oder eine andere Bezeichnung als Wikidata-Item anlegen um in der Provenienz, solche Orte als Depotauslagerungen zu kennzeichnen? Wuselig (talk) 08:08, 27 January 2024 (UTC)

Für mich stellt sich jetzt noch die Frage, ob man für Museen das storage (Q9158768) noch enger spezifizieren soll und das Depot als dauerhaften Lagerplatz für nicht ausgestellte Objekte von solchen Auslagerungen zu Schutzzwecken zu unterscheiden.

Und ob man dann im Artikel Speicher noch eine Ergänzung vornimmt, was hieße einen eigenen Artikel für das "Museumsdepot" anzulegen.

Gerade auf der Suche nach Beispiellinks gesehen: Wir haben das schon - Depot (Museum), inklusive dem Wikidataitem museum storage (Q1191732). Jetzt müsste man also noch die bisher von Dir angelegten/gefundenen Items mit museum storage (Q1191732) verlinken und den temporären Charakter und die Ursache darstellen.

• IP Masking: We are continuing the work on adapting Wikibase for the upcoming IP Masking feature, so that IP addresses for non-logged-in users are no longer published.

  • We finished the route for getting and removing a sitelink from an Item (phab:T344039, phab:T344685) and we continue work on the one for adding/ replacing and modifying a sitelink on an Item (phab:T342987, phab:T342988)

Tool of the week

• User:Teester/EntityShape.js - a userscript that adds an input box to a Wikidata page wherein you can enter an EntitySchema (such as E10). When you click "Check", checks whether each statement and property conforms to the schema. It then displays a summary at the top of the Item for each property indicating whether they conform or not. It also adds a badge to each statement and each property on the page indicating whether they conform or not.

Tool of the week

• Relationships between two Wikidata items a new tool hosted on Observable which looks at all statements involving a pair of Wikidata items.
• User:Magnus Manske/ac2wd.js - This script adds an "AC2WD" link in the tools sidebar. When you click on it, it uses the AC2WD tool to check the item for certain Authority Control IDs (eg VIAF). It then checks these AC datasets for statements (and more AC IDs). It will then add any new information it found as new statements, or add more references to existing statements where possible. A green checkmark will be appended to the link if data was added (reload the page to see), otherwise a "—" if no new data was available.
