Fire promoted opportunity for native grasses in a Neotropical grassland in Brazilian Cerrado invaded by the African grass Melinis minutiflora P. Beauv. (Poaceae). We studied the flowering species in four post-fire periods in a burned area of Serra da Canastra National Park, Brazil.

We investigated the behavioral differences in activity patterns of the Crab-eating Fox (Cerdocyon thous) and the South American Coati (Nasua nasua). We intended to verify if a temporal segregation was occuring, a strategy that can facilitate the coexistence between those two common mesopredators in Cerrado savanas of central Brazil.
We studied the Granivores (seed-eating) birds of genus Sporophila that forage on native grasses (Poaceae) in grasslands and open savannas of the two main Conservation Units of southern Cerrado domain, Brazil. Here we presented basic data... more
We studied the Granivores (seed-eating) birds of genus Sporophila that forage on native grasses (Poaceae) in grasslands and open savannas of the two main Conservation Units of southern Cerrado domain, Brazil. Here we presented basic data on their richness and diversity.
We studied Mixed Flocks of Birds in open environments of Brazil. Here we present data on the participation of endangered species.
We investigated the fire effects on habitat use behavior of four species that depend on riparian ecosystems of São Francisco River, Serra da Canastra, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

Agonistic behavior between two birds and a mammal in understorey of a Cerrado fragment, central Brazil
Fight between Geranoaetus melanoleucus and G. albicaudatus (Aves: Accipitridae) in a recently burned grassland, Serra da Canastra National Park, Brazil
Observations on the use of horse dung as nesting material by the Short-crested Flycatcher, Myiarchus ferox (Aves: Tyrannidae) in the Cerrado of Goias state, central Brazil, with a short review of materials used in nests.
