三神工房

「覚悟に勝る決断なし」は、2020年に84歳で亡くなった野村克也氏の名言である。彼はNLB（パリーグ）の三冠王であり、監督として1565勝を上げた名将である。大勢の彼の弟子が、いま活躍している。

ここのところ日本各地で地震が起きている。

1995年の神戸以来、2011年の東北、2016年の熊本の大地震以外にも、頻繁に続いている。近未来的に「南海地震（下記参照）」が起きると言われて幾久しいが、日本の歴史上の記録を見ても大震災は必ず起きるものであろう。

ちなみに私も最低限ながら、次のようなことを心得ている。

１．外出の際、リュックに「飴」あるいは「チョコ」を入れる。
 　　これは時に水の代わりにも、非常食にも成りうる。

２．自宅には、約１週間分の非常食と水（大型ペットボトル）、それに電池・懐中電灯・スマホ用手動発電機などを備えている。

３．家族同士、万が一の場合に集合する場所を決めている。

一応、自宅のある場所は海抜６５メートルほどあるので、津波の心配はないが、やはり誰もが一度はハザードマップを見るべきであろう。

「備えあれば憂いなし」で、あとは「覚悟する」しかない。

“There is no decision that beats resolve” is a quote by Katsuya Nomura, who passed away in 2020 at the age of 84.  He is the Triple Crown champion of the NLB (Pacific League) and is a famous manager who has won 1565 wins as a Japanese legend.  Many of his disciples are now active.

Now, earthquakes are happening all over Japan these days.  Since Kobe in 1995, other than the Tohoku earthquake in 2011 and also the Kumamoto earthquake in 2016, it has continued frequently.  It has long been said that a Nankai earthquake (see below) will occur in the near future.

Preparedness is important, but disaster prevention is even more important.

By the way, I also do the following, at the very least.

1. When I go out, put "candy" or "chocolate" in my backpack.

   This can sometimes be used instead of water or as emergency food.

2. At my home, I stow the emergency food and water (large PET bottles) for about a week, as well as batteries, flashlights, manual generators for smartphones, etc.

3. Family members have decided on a place to meet in case of an emergency.

For the time being, the place where my house is located is about 65 meters above sea level, so there is no need to worry about Tsunami, but everyone should see a hazard map at least once.

"If you're prepared, you won't have to worry."

On top of that, let's be prepared to "come someday!"

Koubou Mikami

あるTV番組で１７歳の女性が「国会の討議は低レベル。私が総理大臣になりたい」と言い放った。解説者曰く「コロナ禍で若者の意識が変わった」として、25歳以上とする被選挙権の改正を求める若者が増えているという。それが事実なら、好ましいばかりである。

一方昨日のＢＳフジ「生物学で考える人口減」を見た。出演の学者が「日本の未来は絶滅個体群だ」という。現在人口１億２千万人の日本、今のままいけば百年後は四千万人程度で、国家の体を成さない。まあそれまでには、某国に侵略される憂き目にあうだろう。

面白かったのは、アブラムシが尻から出す甘露を餌とするアリは、アブラムシを外敵から守る「相利共生」にあるという話。甘露にはアリを怒らせる成分も含まれるらしい。だがアリはアブラムシが増えすぎると捕食者を見逃し、絶対数を調整しているという。

そのアリは「齢間分業」を成し、歳を取ると外で餌を漁るらしい。リスクの高い外界へ年寄りが出て、若者は巣の将来を担うのである。つまり道で見るアリは高齢者らしい。身につまされる話だが「人間も高齢者が育児を担うべき」と、番組最後に学者が唱えていた。

それもアリであろう！　また若者の被選挙権を下げることも有り。生物学的にも、高齢者ばかりが集団を司るのは無理がある。巣の中で子孫が反映するには、やはり若者が先頭に立つべきだ。金や権力にまみれた政治屋が増え過ぎた今こそ、立ちあがるべきであろう。

In one TV program, a 17-year-old woman declared, "Deliberations in the Diet are at a low level. I want to be Prime Minister."  According to a commentator, he said, "The corona crisis has changed the mindset of young people."  i.e., increasing number of young people are calling for revisions to the right to be elected to the age of 25 or older.  If that's true, it's only good.

And also, I saw yesterday's BS Fuji "Population decline in biology".   

A scholar as cast said, "Japan's future will be "The solid group which will be extinct population"."  Japan currently has a population of 120 million, and if things continue as they are in 100 years, the population will be about 40 million, and it will not form a nation.  

Well, I guess that will be suffer from being invaded by a certain country until then.

What was interesting about the program was that the ants that feed on the honeydew that aphids produce from their buttocks have a "mutual symbiosis" relationship that protects the aphids from external enemies.  That honeydew contains ingredients that make ants angry.  However, ants seem to overlook predators when there are too many aphids and adjust the absolute numbers.

It seems that the ants form a "division of labor between ages" and go outside for food when they get older.  Older ants leave for the high-risk outside to get the meals, and young ants bear the future of the nest.  In other words, the ants you see on the road seem to be elderly people.  I deeply tears of sympathy at that story, but at the end of the program, a scholar advocated that "humans should also take care of the elderly."

That must be "ants"(=ARI means yes!).   It also must be reduces the age of eligibility for election to be more than 25 years old, too.  Biologically, it is impossible for only the elderly to control the group.  In order for the prosperity of offspring in the nest, the young should still take the lead.  The time and limitation has come for young people to stand up now in order to kick out the politicians covered with money and power.

　道すがら桜を愛でた早春も、寒暖の差が激しいまま過去り、今日は五月晴れ、街には数多の花が咲き誇る。ツツジかサツキか、その区別はともかく、街を彩る花よりもなお五月の若葉に目を奪われる。

　それと、もう半世紀前か、TVドラマに出た「風」の詩が蘇る。

　　貧しいから……

　　あなたにあげられるものといえば

　　さわやかな五月の風と緑の若葉と

　　精一杯愛する心だけ……

　たしかそんな詩だった。今も忘れず、この季節になると思いだす。

　あの頃は私も若かった。なにも怖いものはなかった。

　それでも私の心に深く残った。

　それがまさか年老いてもなお、諳んじているとは。

　若葉に囲まれた街中の公園、見れば大きなグラブを手に、子供達がキャッチボール。久しく見なかった光景が戻っている。恐らく、二ヶ月近くを経てもなお、熱の冷めやらぬWBCのせいであろう。

　アメリカへ渡った選手と共に、世界一の栄冠に輝いた侍JAPAN、その勇姿を見た子らに大きな夢を与えた。指が一本折れても、敗戦が目前に迫っても、決して最後まで諦めない姿が若者の心を捉えた。

　なにか確実に変化している。なにも聞こえないし、なにも見えないけれど、数多の芽吹く気配を感じる。気がつけば、隣の明石、大阪府市、奈良・和歌山、底知れぬ地響き。きっとなにかが変わる。
