This study investigates the impact of fluctuating growth rates and politics on the relationship between exchange rates and the Kenya Stock Index. By utilizing historical data from 2008 to 2017, the research employs quantitative methods and statistical techniques such as the Bai Perron procedure, correlation, and granger causality. The results demonstrate significant correlation and causality during the global recession, while local events have a lesser impact. The political environment, including elections and regional politics, also influences this relationship. The findings emphasize the need for comprehensive understanding and awareness of these dynamics to guide informed decision-making in investments, risk management, and monetary policy.

Purpose-This study aims to examine the role of contract law in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and to examine whether or not contract law is necessary in M&A. The study also discusses how contract law can be utilized in M&A, as well as some of the problems that arise from the use of contracts in this area. Research design, data, and methodology-To minimize bias and errors, this study used only peer-reviewed articles and book excluding internet news articles, conference papers, and dissertations. For a well-organized screen and selection process, the author conducted the extraction procedure thoroughly to eliminate some duplicated resources. Result: This study indicates that complex deals carry a high risk but also have the potential to yield substantial revenue for stakeholders. Thus, contract law is essential to the success of M&A because it helps to define the (1) terms of the transaction, (2) reduces risk, (3) offers legal safeguards, and ensures that the (4) agreement is enforced. Conclusion-This study concludes that an understanding of contract law is essential to the profitable merging of two businesses. The application of contract law provides a mechanism for enforcing the agreement, which can increase the likelihood that the stipulations of the M&A will be satisfied.

The primary objectives of this study is to examine and identify the historical factors that have significantly contributed to the growth/ expansion and prosperity of SMEs in the Republic of Korea and to evaluate and assess the impact of historical factors on the economic progress/ development, innovation, and job creation within SMEs in South Korea. To achieve the purpose of the current study, the present author has investigated the comprehensive literature investigation and figured out a total of four Key historical factors of SMEs for Economic Growth in the Republic of Korea, such as (1) Government Policies, (2) Technological Advancements, (3) Access to Finance, (4) International Trade. In conclusion, this study has undertaken a thorough investigation into the four critical historical factors that have significantly affected the development and achievements of SMEs in the Republic of Korea. By addressing a notable gap in current scholarly work, this study not only adds to the existing pool of knowledge but also provides valuable insights for various stakeholders. Practitioners/ professionals should proactively participate in government support initiatives/ programs and financial aid. SMEs can benefit from monetary incentives and donations/ grants intended to stimulate research and development, creativity, and international trade ventures.

The industrial sector, especially in developed countries, is seen as the primary threat to sustainability. As a result, contemporary organizations prioritize establishing sustainable business practices. This sustainability can be achieved by organizations being concerned with their external environments, which is referred to as going green. This study aims to provide a green logistics network design to explain how to attract green consumers. Research design, data, and methodology: This study conducted a comprehensive process to obtain textual datasets in the current literature and finally the author could collect a total 26 relevant prior studies to achieve the purpose of the study. All dataset was thoroughly screened and selected for a high degree of validity. Based on the intensive literature review, the author insists that the four findings presented in this study will be useful as they provide evidence of the importance of technology in achieving global sustainability.in the situation we face technology has become an important part of human life. Financial inclusion has been identified as an essential tool for sustainable development in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). The low level of financial inclusion in SSA has been attributed to various factors such as low income, high levels of poverty, low literacy rates, and inadequate infrastructure. This research investigates the long-run and short-run relationships between financial inclusion and sustainable development in SSA using a panel vector error correction model (VECM) regression method. The study uses cross-sectional data from 48 countries in SSA, covering the period from 2000 to 2021. The model considers the number of Bank branches per 100,000 adults, automated teller machines (ATMs) (per 100,000 adults), and borrowers from commercial banks (per 100,000 adults) as proxies of financial inclusion, while the sustainable development is proxied by human development index (HDI). In addition, the model controls for the influence of GDP per capita and health expenditure. The regression results show that financial inclusion has a positive and statistically significant association with the level of sustainable development in the SSA region. In the long run, a 1% increase in financial inclusion is associated with a 0.62% increase in sustainable development, while the short-run Wald test indicates that each of the lagged values of all independent variables jointly Granger causes changes in HDI, suggesting that financial inclusion variables help predict short-run deviation in HDI. Policymakers can use this information to develop policies that aim to increase GDP per capita and improve access to healthcare services, and financial institutions to promote sustainable development.

Purpose-In this study, the current author explores how Human Resource Management (HRM) is changing in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). Understanding the distinctive features of HRM in this day is crucial, given how rapidly industries are changing due to technology. Research design, data, and methodology-This study adopts a thorough literature review methodology to pinpoint and clarify these distinctive characteristics, advancing our understanding of the role of HRM in the modern world. Regarding methodology, this study uses the PRISMA approach to systematically gather pertinent publications from various sources that have undergone peer review. Result-By carefully choosing and examining these studies, the present author was able to identify four crucial HRM traits that are representative of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The findings emphasizes how common flexible work schedules are. Using data analytics to influence HRM decisions is increasingly important for maximizing hiring, reviewing performance, and fostering organizational growth. Conclusion-By recalibrating their HRM practices in the 4IR, businesses may encourage flexibility, innovation, and employee well-being. This work makes a substantial contribution to both HRM theory and practice and our comprehension of the transformative effects of the 4IR by filling a gap in the existing literature.

This empirical study examines the long-run and short-run relationship between financial inclusion and economic growth in seven Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Lao PDR. Using Pooled Mean Group Autoregressive Distributed Lag (PMG-ARDL) model, the analysis regresses three financial inclusion determinants namely number of commercial bank branches, account ownership, and automated teller machines (ATM) against the GDP per capita, the proxy of economic growth, with a designated set of control variables. The panel data covers the period of 2000 to 2021. The findings contribute to the literature on the subject by providing empirical evidence of a positive and statistically significant long-run relationship between financial inclusion determinants and GDP per capita in the ASEAN region. The study's findings indicate that, in a long run, a 1% increase in commercial bank numbers corresponds to a 0.57 % increase in GDP growth, while a 1% increase in number of account ownership is linked to a 1.03 % increase in GDP growth. However, evident of the effects of numbers of ATM is less significant, although a 1% increase of this variable is associated with a 0.23 % rise in GDP growth. The short-run relationship between financial inclusion and economic growth is mixed and varies across different estimation lags, highlighting the complexity of the relationship. The study offers important policy implications for ASEAN economies and beyond, suggesting that policymakers in the region need to continue promoting financial inclusion for long-run positive effects on economic growth.

Results: Previous The sociologies, given their emphasis on the human way of behaving and interactions, demand heightened ethical considerations due to the potential impact of research findings on individuals and society. Currently, there is little doubt that factors such as intensifying competition, high job turnovers, increased market diversity and technological advances demand the present organizations to invest in strategies that encourage customer-centric behaviors. To overcome these challenges and ensure employees to be more customer-oriented, the present author suggests integrated solutions based on prior major motivation theories such as Theory X and Y, Maslow's theory and Herzberg's two factor theory. As a result, the present research explains methods that companies can use to ensure that employees are motivated and satisfied, insisting that employee satisfaction and motivation play a huge role in ensuring that the organization is running smoothly and effectively. Also, the present author points out that adopting better employee incentive programs motivate employees to embrace practices that ensure customer satisfaction and company productivity. Organizations that fail to use the most appropriate incentives to drive their employees suffer huge losses.

Purpose: The present study offers merger and acquisition (M&A) strategy based on prior studies to assist the organizational practitioners in two companies' cultures. In the analysis, a M&A plan to guide the evolving principles was created by present authors using change management model. Research design, data, and methodology: The successful M&A integration is setting goals, reconfiguring the cultural systems to align them with business goals. The employees must be involved, particularly with organizational change. Both companies also ought to undertake employee training following the resolving of worries and needs of employees. Finally, restructuring can include the moving of employees from areas where they may be struggling. Result: Discussing and trying to come to an agreement over which mode of acculturation would be most suitable in that particular state is the main focus. Practitioners of both Company A and Company B might find it much simpler to continue their focus and dynamism in the process of cultural integration. Conclusions: We believe that our approach adds an insight in the M&A literature. Managers at all levels of both organizations must take part in the process of M&A for both organizational cultures to come in sync and for change to take place.

Prior to the 1997 decentralization, over 90% of national revenue in Thailand were held at the central government and less than 10% of public expenditure were allocated to local governments across country. Lack of adequate revenue and access to sufficient expenditure budget has caused disparity and ineffectiveness of public services and economic development at the local level. This study examines the effects of the fiscal decentralization on the economic growth in Thailand from 2004 to 2017. The research methodology uses a cross panel data analysis across five provincial regions and considers revenue decentralization, expenditure decentralization, transfer dependency, and vertical fiscal imbalance as influential factors of growth. By applying Panel Fully Modified Least Squares (FMOLS) and Panel Dynamic Least Squares (DOLS) regression approaches, the study finds empirical evidence of positive effects of revenue decentralization, transfer dependency, and vertical fiscal imbalance on regional economic growth across five regions. However, this study also finds that expenditure decentralization has a negative impact on regional economic growth, but level of significance is weak. These findings suggest that the rapid increase in metropolis government expenditure budget following the years of political transition in 2006 and 2014 has caused stagnation in public investment at local level across country, thereby resulted in a lagged behind industrial output and gross provincial product. Lack of budget expenditures also weakens demand and stagnates growth in manufacturing, construction, and real estate activities, thereby rendering fiscal imbalances and development gaps in Thai economy.

The concept and practice of free migration has long existed, but the modern border pass and common visa have only been used since the establishment of the Schengen Agreement of the European Union in 1995. Since its establishment, the Schengen Visa has been an extraordinary example of the success of a borderless region and led to vibrant in growth and social development. ASEAN, as a new economic community that tries to set itself as a beneficiary of the lessons learned from the European Union, has been struggling in establishing its own common visa region. The reasons encompass economic, political, and social-cultural concerns. This study focuses specifically on the Lao PDR and it aims to assess the preparedness of the country if the region were to establish the common visa system. The study employs a qualitative approach and collects data via an interview questionnaire. Research data are collected from interviews of six high-ranking government officials. Using the theme generating and data coding approach in ATLAS, a qualitative data analysis program, this study found that the preparedness of the Lao PDR in implementing the ASEAN Common Visa (ACV) spans nine key factors: (1) geographical location, (2) visa policy, (3) immigration control, (4) quota of foreign workers in the private sector, (5) information and communications technology (ICT) in connectivity development, (6) electronic systems in the consular sector, (7) infrastructure, (8) population mobility, and (9) attitudes towards the ACV. After categorizing these factors based on economic, political, and social-cultural dimensions, it was found that population mobility is a common concern among the three dimensions. This suggests that the Lao PDR needs to focus on improvements in border management, synchronization of information and communication technology, infrastructure, and human resources development among the relevant sectors.

The paper examines the effects of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) on the economic growth of Lao People's Democratic Republic (Lao PDR) between 1993 and 2015. The investigation is based on the influence of growth and economic absorptive capability determinants such as human capital, trade openness, and institutional quality. The methodological analysis uses a multivariate framework accounting capital stock, labor stock, FDI, human capital, trade openness, and institutional quality in regression of the Vector Autoregressive model. Augmented Dickey-Fuller unit root test, Johansen Cointegration test, and Granger Causality test were applied as parts of the econometric time-series analysis approach. The empirical results demonstrate the positive effects of FDI and trade openness, and the negative effects of human capital and institutional quality on the economic growth of the Lao PDR over the 1993 to 2015 period. The findings confirm that trade openness complemented by a sufficient level of infrastructure, education, quality institutions, and transparency significantly influence economic growth and attract more FDI. Research results lend credence to the need for the Lao PDR's government to focus on improving its economic absorptive capability and economic competitiveness regionally and globally by improving wealth and resource management strategies, as failure to take this course of action could lead to the Dutch Disease effects.

A primary goal of transnationals is to offer their vision for selling products or services so that they are relevant to local cultures. The purpose of this study is to provide a solution for how transnational companies face various environments and how they can utilize and overcome them and survive strategically. This study will present strategic recommendations for transnational organizations. First, transnational organizations should identify the core areas where organizational can invest or allocate its precious resources to get full advantage of the attractive opportunities form the market and focus on building strong networks with the key stakeholders. Second, they should manage the knowledge flows and provide strategic direction in cooperative venture for the long term successful future and ensure that every department has an effective coordination with other departments in order to bring about the organizational change. Purpose-There are several problems that organizations face to make a better team-based system such as free-rider issue, assigned difficult jobs unfairly and bickering between high performers and average performers. The purpose of this study is to provide solutions for practitioners through past academic studies on how organizations can resolve several issues in team management. Ultimately, it would lead to employees as better performers for organization's profitability and customers' satisfaction. Research design, data, and methodology-Solution 1-put employees who have a similar performance ability together into a same team and apply 'growth' approach for low performance team. Solution 2-make a new evaluation system which is balanced between individual's performance and team's performance. Solution 3-monitor thoroughly to diffuse difficult works equally among teams and develop management practice system that may prevent or resolve difficult work-loads for a team or an individual performer. Result-Investigation suggests that organizations may resolve three conflicts which come from team base system. Moreover, the implications of results show that the most important criteria in team management depend on whether performers have a similar ability in the same team and management handles issue of justice and the performance of each employee is evaluated by total team performance evaluation simultaneously. Conclusions-All in all, our recommendation concludes that if three issues are resolved, the lack of trust in team-based system among team members will be missed.

The present research is to explore and investigate the meaningful difference between job-based pay and skill-based pay in the current literature to shed light on the advantages and caveats of two compensation approach, providing direction for human resource practitioners looking to develop efficient and fair compensation plans. Research design, data and methodology: The methodology based on Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) was used for this research. The PRISMA technique is generally considered the gold standard since it guarantees openness, repeatability, and rigor. Studies comparing salaries based on work duties versus those based on individual skills published in English and accepted for publication in peer-reviewed journals are eligible for inclusion. Results: According to the comprehensive literature analysis, the present research provides clear comparison between Job-based pay and skilled-based pay, pointing out a similarity and four differences (1. Criteria for pay determination, 2. Flexibility, 2. Job Scope, and 4. Career progression. Conclusions: The result of the current research implies that human resource professionals would be well to learn the effects of various compensation structures on career advancement, and suggests for them that employees can take advantage of chances to advance in their careers based on right compensation schemes.

Purpose: The marketing practice for the leisure and sports industry is a complex process that requires a thorough understanding of the audience, their needs and motivations. Thus, this niche market is focused on specific products, services, or experiences. The present research explores and suggests meaningful strategies based on the literature textual dataset to provide how to attract consumers in this sector. Research design, data and methodology: We have conducted the 'Secondary Literature Analysis', reviewing and summarizing numerous findings in the relevant prior studies. As a result, we could obtain a total of 15 significant textual resources which are from only peer-reviewed journal article. All resources had a high quality of the instrument to prove their results. Results: The findings of this research pointed out that marketers in leisure sports sector need to communicate via following methods: (1) Understanding the Customers' Needs and Wants, (2) Social Media, (3) Advertising, (4) Promoting Brand Affinity, (5) Offering Discounts, and (6) Providing Value-Added Services. Conclusions: The present research concludes that the marketing practice in the leisure and sports industry should be performed using various channels. This current empirical study aims at investigating the incorporation of consumer innovativeness in TAM and UTAUT in the development of a golf app and how these influence consumer behavioral intentions in adopting the golf app. These models help illustrate consumer adoption of particular technologies and relate to the concept of innovation diffusion theory. Our research has obtained 394 responses and participants of the questionnaire were evenly divided by gender and age to reach the purpose of the current research. The main statistical methodology used the structural equation modeling (SEM) to evaluate the connection among users’ innovativeness regarding the golf application, technology acceptance model (TAM), unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT), behavioral intention, and word of mouth. In contrast to correlation assessments, SEM can measure the strength of the linear causative relationships between factors. Finally, this research concludes that TAM and UTAUT components determine the consumer’s attitude toward accepting and using new technology. Consumers who are open to innovations are more likely to accept emerging technology products and use them with the least resistance

This study is to explore how to enhance an organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) for private companies, boosting their employees; performance. With OCB in place, businesses won't have to worry about employees engaging in harmful or counterproductive actions. Better coordination will benefit employees' skill sets and the company's overall performance. Research design, data and methodology: We used a data extraction form and present it as an appendix. These forms could demonstrate to the reader what the present authors looked for and how they found it. We also investigated to obtain text datasets whether any extractions were carried out in duplicate, and, if so, whether duplicate abstraction was carried out independently. Results: There are four solutions to boost employees' OCB for HR practitioners: 'Creating an Environment that Supports Constructive OCB', 'Encouraging Productive Behavior in the Workplace and Reward properly, 'Integrating Corporate Citizenship into Performance Evaluations', and 'Training to Use OCB and Educating on its Benefits'. Conclusions: Based on the research findings of the current study, this study strongly concludes that OCB should be encouraged, and employers and employees should collaborate on efforts to boost morale and increase productivity. Business intelligence (BI) is a process for turning data into insights that inform an organization's strategic and tactical decisions. BI aims to give decision-makers the information they need to make better decisions Patient safety analysis, illness surveillance, and fraud identification are just a few healthcare decision-making processes that can be supported by data mining. Thus, the purpose of the current research is to outline the need if BI as an essential factor in the healthcare sector by reviewing various scholarly materials and the findings. The present author conducted one of the most famous qualitative literature approach which has been called as PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis) statement. The selecting criteria for eligible prior studies were estimated by whether studies are suitable for the current research, identifying they are peer-reviewed and issued by notable publishers between 2017 and 2022. Purpose: Online-To-Offline Food Delivery Services (O2O-FDS) is a new element in hotel supply chain that digitalizes traditional food delivery practices using new technologies. Targeting hotel guests, the present research is to explore the role of trust in the relationship between food delivery app on loyalty, price efficiency, and convenience. This new perspective is an essential value addition in the field of hotel marketing in relation to O2O-FDS. Research design, data and methodology: The present research conducted the mediator variable regression analysis as a main statistical methodology to identify the connections between three main constructs using total 244 South Korean participants that were recruited from the professional research company in Korea. Results: The statistical findings based on three steps of mediator regression approach strongly indicate that the trust of food delivery app in the hotel sector plays a moderating role in the relationship between price efficiency and convenience of food delivery app and customer loyalty of food delivery app in the hotel business. Conclusions: This research concludes that hotel practitioners must strive to provide adequate information on food delivery applications in order to increase price efficiency and convenience relative to traditional food and beverage services, influencing consumer trust in food delivery technology.

Prior studies on urban hotel service settings show that the positive response to the lobby artwork and interior design in a hotel is a performance determinant since it directly impacts the orientation of green customers’ preferences who form a significant part of the primary and secondary consumers' outcome of emotional satisfaction. In addition, it elaborates on the importance of marketing strategy based on hotel interior design for urban hotels intending to increase customer loyalty.
For this reason, the present study collected a total of 330 South Korean participants to identify the mediating role of hotel lobby interior design and artworks between green customers’ preferences and hotel loyalty. The survey instrument designed for the current study included 15 questions to test the hypotheses and a path analysis using AMOS 24.0 was conducted as the main tool to determine the relationship key factors. According to our statistical findings, it is acceptable to relate the customers’ environmental awareness with interest in artwork in the hotel lobby due to the first impression created. The artwork gives a general perception of the value and quality that the consumer is likely to gain by interacting with the available products and services. It is also valid to indicate that the customers’ environmental awareness closely relates to their preference for interior design to develop customer loyalty. Therefore, we conclude that the environmental awareness and hotel loyalty factors impact the marketing strategy and segmentation process used for the urban hotels that deal with green customers with unique and exclusive needs.

Due to rapid industrial developments and the effects of the economic revolution such
as high production rates and non-ecofriendly supply systems, environmental pollution has been observed in recent years and environmental issues are increasingly becoming a concern on the planet. For this reason, there is little doubt that business organizations have been forced more and more to implement green business strategies for stakeholders, facing the necessity to improve their employees’ environmental performance. Using 461 US employees in the environmental related industries, we found empirical evidence between employees’ green performance, organizational culture and adaptability capability. Finally, the present study suggests two main corporate elements for green policy makers in eco-friendly organizations that the alignment of firm environmental strategy with strategic human resources (HR) should include (1) an organizational culture that supports employee green practices and (2) employee adaptability competency that enables workers to respond to the evolving environmental challenges as main component of analysis.

The rapid economic growth, especially in some developed and developing nations, has continued to aggravate the environment's decline. At this point, buying green products daily tends to be considered an effective means of solving some of the excessive environmental issues. With that in mind, this research aims to investigate on how the customer's environmental protection purchasing behavior influences corporate green marketing strategy. To achieve this goal, the current researchers used qualitative textual analysis and collected data, including from current literature. Since we focused on maximizing validity, the databases were used to gather data mainly from peer-reviewed sources. The result indicated that price sensitivity tends to play a harmful role, especially in the correlation between green consumption intention and environmental concern. Also the result revealed that environmental concern tends to play a fractional role especially in the environmental responsibility based on green consumption intention. Findings in this research would be essential, especially in providing different perspectives on how cooperate managers are likely to establish their green marketing strategy with the objective of limiting the price sensitivity, especially among the customers. Finally, this research concluded that corporates must focus on transferring consumers' attention to green products' pricing. This can be done by highlighting some of the unique green products' attributes, including eco-friendly, organic, and low-carbon productivity.

By building on compensation literature, the current study explored and identified the ties between workers' competencies, corporate cultures, and compensation schemes. These schemes were typically the subject of literature on the factors dealing with the implementation of incentive systems for pay for performance (PFP) or problems that can lead to a PFP system's failure. Unfortunately, when it comes to research that HR education practitioners may do, the literature has been scarce. It shows which organizational elements might be necessary to examine when deciding whether a PFP or an alternative compensation program is acceptable. This study aimed to add insight into this gap in research. The findings of this study showed from the use of data from 385 American employees in the manufacturing industry that there are significant relationships statistically between employee competencies and organizational cultures and those findings can be corroborated with existing researches, suggesting compensation schemes were related to multiple types of competence organizations and different organization cultures, thus adding meaningfully to the current literature.

Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) can help create jobs, reduce unemployment, improve world-class technology transfer, and grow countries' economies. During the past 10 years, FDI net inflows to the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC) has highly fluctuated and remained below to the total amount reached in 2010. The focus of this research was to statistically analyze the mean difference for FDI net inflows, GDP per capita, natural resource rents, inflation rate, corruption index, trade openness index, rule of law index, and political stability index received in each CEMACs country. Paired t-test methodology was used to conduct the analysis. Data were collected from the World Bank Group database from 2007 to 2017. This research revealed that FDI net inflows decreased by an average of two billion dollars in CEMAC when conducting a mean-to-mean analysis from the recession period to the recovery period. The findings showed that FDI net inflows inversely affected the GDP per capita in Congo and Gabon. FDI net inflows may have contributed to the improvement of the GDP per capita in countries such as Cameroon, Chad, Central Africa Republic, and Equatorial Guinea. Researcher recommendation for continued study is a qualitative research using the same variables through the same periods in addition to year 2018. Improvement of economic policies, regulations and laws, as well as the digitalization of public funds management are also recommended to boost economic development and growth in the CEMAC region.

The purpose of the current study is to analyze a marketing strategy for an art gallery based on prior marketing theories. Research design, data and methodology: Scant research is available to guide regarding what elements of marketing theories should be applied to accomplish customer satisfaction in an art gallery business plan. Thus, the present authors suggest more specific marketing strategy using four traditional marketing theories for practitioners who conduct business planning strategy in an art gallery. Results: The current study suggests the synthesized model for a successful business plan of an art gallery and figured out that two distinctive segments through marketing mix and SWOT analysis are ideal because it would be easier to meet visitors' aesthetic tastes while still meeting organizational objectives. Conclusions: As all other businesses, art galleries have to adapt to survive by innovating some of the components of the marketing mix to create a competitive advantage. It also requires a strategy for that combines targeting and segmenting with the incorporation of the marketing mix to attain competitiveness.

Purpose-With its considerable water resources, Lao People's Democratic Republic, hereafter Lao PDR, is considered to become the "battery" of the Southeast Asia region in the next 20 years. This paper explores the investment opportunity in the hydroelectricity development project in the Lao PDR. Research design, data, and methodology-Three significant investment factors including cultural factor, political factors, and economic factors are being literally analyzed. In fulfilling the purpose of this analysis, Num Theun 2 Power Company or NTPC, a current largest hydropower project in the country, is selected for an example of a mega investment project model in the country. Results-NTPC's investment plan, budgets, and current revenue and rate of return are briefly discussed throughout the paper. In addition, this paper also briefly compares and contrasts of the investment in the Lao PDR and investment in its neighboring Singapore who is considered one of the leading developed economies in the region. Conclusions-A recommendation is being proposed on the last section of this paper in the areas that Lao PDR may consider adopting in order to make its investment environment becomes more attractive to foreign investors.
