    Eğitim kurumlarında harcanan maddi ve manevi kaynakların etkin kullanılıp kullanılmadığının tespiti için okullar, belirli aralıklarla denet-lenmektedir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, kurum denetimine yönelik yöne-tici görüşlerini ve aynı bölgede bulunan eğitim kurumlarının denetim formlarını sunmaktır. Bu araştırma, doküman incelemesi ve görüşme tekniğinin kullanıldığı nitel bir çalışmadır. Bu amaçla, Adana ilinden ilkokul, ortaokul ve lise düzeyinden kurumlar ve yöneticiler seçilmiş-tir. Bu kapsamda, 11 adet kurum denetim raporuna ve 25 adet farklı amaçlarla gerçekleştirilmiş denetim raporuna ulaşılmıştır.     The main purpose of this research was to reveal the perceptions of secondary education students related to the concepts of “mathematics teacher” and “mathematics course” through metaphors. This research was designed qualitatively, and phenomenology research model was used. In this research, the phenomenon that was focused during the research process was determined as how secondary education students conceptualized their thoughts on mathematics teacher and mathematics course through the metaphors. The attitudes towards the mathematics course and mathematics teacher affect them mutually. Moreover, 6 th grade students resembled the mathematics course to the science course.     The purpose of the present study was to determine the communication barriers, the reasons and results of these barriers, and solution proposals for communication barriers faced in the context of school-parents cooperation. The case study was used in this study. The data obtained from the interview forms were analysed according to the method of descriptive analysis. The findings were presented in the form of themes and subthemes. The study group consisted of 42 teachers working in the central districts of Erzurum in the 2019-2020 academic years.     This research aimed to determine the opinions of teacher parents about distance education process during COVID-19. The study was designed as a case study which is one of the methods in qualitative research. The sample of the study composed of 83 teacher parents from different branches in Turkey. Maximum variation and criterion sampling methods were used to select the participants. The data of the study were gathered though open ended questions developed by the researchers and were analyzed through descriptive and content analyses. According to the participants, distance education is perceived and accepted as a means of support rather than an alternative to face-to-face education.     The purpose of this study was to analyze the present state of the vocational and technical education system and the history of the teacher training processes and techniques and the current situation. It also includes examples of the vocational and technical teacher training process in developed countries. In this context, the process of examining the historical development of technical teacher training—objectives, programs, and conditions—was put forward in terms of organization. Also, the concept of a technical teacher training system in recent years was analyzed. Within the framework of restructuring, focusing particularly on schools, the title given to the graduates, objectives, programs, places, organizations, international accreditation issues, and pedagogical training courses were invesetigated.     The study aims to examine the effects of educator qualifications on teaching cross-curricular skills in Korea, China due to their achievements at PISA 2015 assessments. The study indeed designed as a correlational research study. The research focuses on teacher qualifications as pre-service education and professional development in Korea and China. The sample covers teachers that are participants of PISA 2015 assessments. The data of the study was comprised of teachers’ surveys that responded in Korea, and China in PISA 2015. Study revealed that teacher qualifications in Korea and China have positive influence on bringing students in cross-curricular skills that are essentials for deeper learning. The study also indicated that both pre-service teacher education and teacher professional development in service had a statistically significant effect on teaching cross-curricular skills and these are the predictors of students’ successful performance in Korea, and China. Araştırma 2018 yılında Kayseri ili ortaöğretim kurumlarında görev yapan 388 öğretmen ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada genel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Ölçme aracı olarak 32 maddeden oluşan ‘’Eğitim Denetmenlerine Yönelik Öğretmen Bakış Açısını Belirleme Ölçeği’’ kullanılmıştır. Bu ölçek öğretmenlerin: denetim ihtiyacı, samimiyet, anlayış gösterme, uzmanlık, denetimin niteliği, denetmenlik algısı, denetimin yeterliliği olmak üzere yedi alt boyutu ele almıştır. Beşli Likert tipi ölçek ile bu alt boyutlar öğretmenlerin cinsiyet, kıdem ve öğrenim durumu değişkenlerine göre yorumlanmıştır.     The present research aims to examine the opinions of Erasmus+ exchange program students going abroad with the program as part of their experiences. Descriptive phenomenology, one of the qualitative research designs, was used in this study. Thus, open-ended opinion forms, which were answered by 14 students who went abroad in the 2016-2017 academic years with the Erasmus+ exchange program were analyzed by content analysis. The data obtained from the participants were handled under three themes: information acquisition and application; overseas process; contribution, expectation and suggestion. The findings obtained in this study suggest that it is important for the coordinators to keep the interaction with the students at the highest level to run the program in a healthier way. In line with this purpose, the attitude levels of the high school students toward teaching profession were determined and whether this level is predicted significantly by independent variables was examined. This is a quantitative study and has been designed as a survey model. Study group of these research consists of 396 students studying at the high schools in Nevsehir province in 2017–2018 academic year.     This study sought to investigate the Palestinian postgraduate students’ perception of the challenges they face during their study in Turkey, the provided support and proposed solutions. To achieve this goal, semi-structured interviews with 16 Palestinian postgraduate students who study in Turkey were conducted. The findings revealed that the most prominent Palestinian student challenges in the social field are the dormitory and provided food. The academic challenges faced by Palestinian students in Turkey focused on the academic load, the system of teaching and the language of study as well. In terms of economic challenges, they did not pose a fundamental challenge to many students other than married students and a student who is not granted a particular support.     Within the scope of “Nature Education” project by TUBITAK Science Department, which aims to provide a wide ecology vision and teach the language of nature to young research assistants from different departments, master and doctorate students and scoutleader teachers; in July, five years time the Project of “Ecology-Based Nature Education around Goksu Valley and Delta” was carried out. 149 people participated in this program. In the research, qualitative and quantitative research methods are used together. A form consisting of 20 questionnaires and 3 open-ended questions was used and the obtained data were analyzed. Codes were created in the direction of the answers given to the open-ended questions, and the opinions of the participants were interpreted by associating the generated codes. As a result of this research, the participants’ expectations of the nature education projects were met and achieved the result of leaving it with a vision of a wide ecology.

    Determining the attitude levels of the high school students toward teaching profession and the factors affecting these attitudes constitute the aim of the research. In line with this purpose, the attitude levels of the high school students toward teaching profession were determined and whether this level is predicted significantly by independent variables was examined. This is a quantitative study and has been designed as a survey model. Study group of these research consists of 396 students studying at the high schools in Nevşehir province in 2017–2018 academic year. The attitude scale regarding teaching profession was used in these study. Ordinal logistic regression analysis was used in the analysis of the data.     The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship of physical activity (PA) level and healthy life-style behaviors in academic staff in Bartın University, Turkey. The short form of International Physical Activity Questionnaire was administered for the determination of physical activity level of academic staff. Their PA levels were categorised as inactive, minimally active, and physically active by using MET method. For the determination of healthy life-style behaviors, Health-promoting Life-style Profile Questionnaire was used with self-actualization (SA), health responsibility (HR), exercise (E), nutrition (N), interpersonal support (IS), and stress management (SM) subscales. Results of Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation analyses indicated significant positive correlations between total physical activity level and exercise (r=0.52; p<0.01) and healthy life-style behaviors (r=0.47; p<0.01) among the study subjects.     Eğitim sistemimizin temelini oluşturan yapılandırmacılık felsefesine göre öğrenme sadece öğrenene ve öğretene bağlı bulunmamaktadır. Bunların yanında öğrenme ortamlarının da öğrenmeye katkısının büyük olduğu düşünülmektedir. Bu bağlamda öğrenme ortamlarının yapılandırmacı anlayışa göre düzenlenmesi önem kazanmıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının eğitim fakültelerinde düzenlenen öğrenme yaşantılarının yapılandırmacı anlayışa uygun olup olmadığına ilişkin görüşlerini çeşitli değişkenlere bağlı olarak saptamaktır. Araştırma genel tarama türünde, betimsel bir çalışma olup araştırmanın örneklemini 2014-2015 eğitim öğretim yılında Mersin Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi’nde öğrenim gören Sınıf Öğretmenliği Programındaki 306 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Bu örneklem grubuna “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ve Arkün&Aşkar’ın 2010 yılında geliştirdikleri “Yapılandırmacı Öğrenme Ortamlarını Değerlendirme Ölçeği” uygulanmıştır. Ölçek; öğrenci merkezli, düşündüren, işbirlikli, yaşamla ilgili, öğretim ve değerlendirmenin bir aradalığı ile farklı bakış açıları kazandıran olmak üzere altı faktör üzerinden yapılandırmacı öğrenme ortamlarını değerlendirmektedir. Araştırma sonucuna göre, sınıf öğretmenliği anabilim dalı öğrencilerinin öğrenme ortamlarının yapılandırmacılığa uygun olmadığı tespit edilmiştir.

    The purpose of the research is not only to determine the level of perception of lifelong learning key competencies of administrators, teachers, and master trainers working for public education centers but also to find out whether or not this perception level of the sample reveals significant differences in terms of gender, profession, age, and years of experience. The research population included administrators (principals, chief deputy principals, deputy principals), teachers, and master trainers working for the public education centers in the province of Ankara during the 2015–2016 academic year. The research sample was comprised of 39 administrators, 124 teachers, and 172 master trainers, a total of 335 participants. The data were collected using the “key competences for lifelong learning scale” developed by Şahin et al. (Educational Research and Review, 5(10), 545–556, 2010). A cross-sectional survey design was implemented in conducting the study. The data collected were analyzed through descriptive and parametric tests (one-way ANOVA and independent t-test). According to results, regarding gender, there are significant differences between females and males with respect to levels of the dimensions of communication in the native language, communication in a foreign language(s), and as for digital competences. Considering the profession variable, there are significant differences between teachers and administrators and administrators and master trainers with respect to the dimensions of communication in native language, mathematical and basic competence in science and technology, and also in terms of digital competence. Age and years of experience are also important variables for the significant difference with respect to the dimension of communication in a foreign language(s).
