Areca nut extract is an organic material that contains tannin and can replace bicycling used as a disinfectant in tissue culture activities. Coconut water is a food reserve that contains vitamins and growth substances, so it can stimulate germination.     Farm machinery breakdowns are the most common problems farmers face in field operations. The problems can cause losses of time, power, and money and must therefore be prevented. This research investigates farm machinery breakdowns and loss of machine power, as well as service support conditions in Riau Province, Indonesia. Most data were collected from secondary sources published by the Food Crop and Horticulture Services of Riau Province and the Statistical Bureau of Riau Province. The data on service support facilities were obtained through field visits to service support sites in the province. The number of farm machines, farm power, and machine breakdowns increased during the period 2010–2021. There were different breakdown rates among farm machines and regencies. The highest annual growth was 17.03 percent for water pumps, followed by power threshers (14.41%), and 2-wheel tractors (14.32%).     This research aims to obtain the combination of BAP and NAA concentration which give the best effect on explant growth of Vanda orchid in-vitro. The research was conducted at the biotechnology laboratory Faculty of Agriculture Riau Islamic University Pekanbaru from August to December 2013. The completely randomized design with two factorials (BAP and NAA) was used. The observed parameters included percentage of shoot growing, shoot age, shoot height, shoot number and abnormal embryo somatic. Data were analysed using statistics and BNJ Test at the 5% significance level. The result showed that,interactionally,BAP and NAA applications had a significant effect on height plant with the best concentration without BAP and 1.0 ppm NAA.  Individually, the application of BAP effected significantly on percentage of shoot growing, shoot growth, shoot height and shoot number with the best concentration without BAP and 0.1 BAP. The research was carried out at Biotechnology Laboratory of Faculty of Agriculture Riau Islamic University Pekanbaru during four months, starting from august to November 2009.     The purpose of this study was to look at the effect of organic plus and urea biofertilizers on the growth and yield of (Cucumis sativus L.) interactively or primarily. The experimental design used was factorial Completely Randomized Design (RAL) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is the provision of Bio-Organic Plus (P) fertilizer which consists of 4 levels, namely: 0, 2,5, 5, 7.5 cc / l water and the second factor is the administration of Urea (U) fertilizer which consists of 4 levels, namely: 0, 1,87, 3,75 and 5,62 g / plant. The parameters observed were an age of flowering, age of harvest, number of fruit crops, fruit weight and fruit weight.     The objective of this research was to know the effect of giving bamboo shot extract and superior plant hormone fertilizer on growth and yield of mung bean. The research was conducted at the experimental farm Faculty of Agriculture Riau Islamic University Pekanbaru. The research was arranged using a completely randomized design with two factorials. The first factor used bamboo shoot dosage (R) with four level treatment: without extract (R0), 1,5 ml/l water (R1), 3,5 ml/l water (R2), and 4,5 ml/l water (R3), and the second factor used superior plant hormone plant doses (H) with four level treatment: without hormone (H0), 2 cc/l water (H1), 4 cc/l water (H2), and 6 cc/l water (H3).     Application of Benzyl Amino purine (BAP) to Adenium (Adenium obesum) explants in vitro was conducted at the laboratory of Biotechnology, Faculty Agriculture Islamic University of Riau. This research aims to examine the response of 2 (two) sources of explants material Adenium plant (Adenium obesum). The Completely Randomized Design was used under factorial, consisting two factors: the first factor is the use of explants with two treatment levels, namely: E1 = the use of adenium stem explants and E2 = the use of adenium shoot tip explants. The second factor is the BAP with four treatment levels, namely: B0 = Without BAP (control), B1 = BAP concentrations of 0.1 mg / l, B2 = BAP concentrations of 1.0 mg / l, B3 = BAP concentrations of 10 mg / l. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh interaksi MOL Keong Mas dan TSP dalam meningkatkan Produksi Tanaman Kacang Tanah. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor.     The research was carried out in the experimental farm of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru during 6 months from July to December 2017. The study used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 2 factors.  First factor was goat manure, consisting of 5 levels: 0, 5, 10, 15, 20 tons/ha and the second factor was TSP fertilizer, consisting of 4 levels: 0, 100, 175, 250 kg/ha. The materials used were bean seeds of the Balitsa-2 variety, goat manure, TSP fertilizer, Urea, KCl, Furadan 3G, Curacon 500 EC, Fungicide (Antracol), and 1 kg clear plastic. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of various doses and frequency of NPK fertilization on peat soils to increase onion production.     Low fertility was the problem of shallot development in peat.Compost with the right level of maturity can improve the characteristic of peat. Aim of this research was to determine the effect of maturity level of compostto production of three shallot varieties in peat. The experiment was conducted at Experimental Farm,Islamic University of Riau from April to August 2017. The research used a completely randomized design with 3 replications. Treatments were no compost, maturity level 1 week, 3 weeks, and 5 weeks and Kampar, Medan, and Brebes varieties. Compost of 3 week gave the best result on compost and peat soil analysis. However, Compost of1 weekprovides the highest increase on pH. Compostof 1 week significantly increase the number of bulbon Kampar variety ie 7.56 bulbs, while wet weight bulb and dry weight bulb per plot on Brebes varietyie 1062.83 g and 920.83 g.
