Al-Quran diturunkan sebagai panduan hidup manusia yang mengandungi tarbiyah dalam pelbagai aspek, dan untuk memahaminya ilmu Tafsir telah membantu seseorang mendalami aspek tarbiyah dengan lebih terperinci.Kajian ini menfokuskan surah Makkiyah sebagaitahap permulaan generasi Muslim yang menjadi asas utama dantelah menjadi contoh ikutan zaman berzaman. Zainab al-Ghazālī (ZAG) adalah tokoh mufassir wanita dari Mesir yang sangat berdedikasi dalam mendidik generasi Muslim melalui tarbiyah farḍiyyah, usrah dan ummah. Artikel ini berfokus kepada tarbiyah yang terdapat dalam tiga (3)surah Makkiyah dalam Jūz ‘Ammayang telah digarap dari tafsir Naẓarāt fī Kitābillah, iaitu surah al-Zalzalah, at-Takāthur, danal-‘Aṣr. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif kajian ini mendapati ZAG mengaplikasikan terjemahan secara langsung dengan kaedah da‘wīdan tarbawī. Kajian ini turut membuktikan unsur-unsur tarbiyah dalam surah Makkiyah dalam aktiviti berusrah berjaya membina generasi kepimpinan Muslim yang unggul sehingga dapat membina kerajaan Islam di serata dunia

Kajian ini menfokuskan kepada unsur tarbiah yang terdapat dalam empat surah Makkiyah dalam Jūz ‘Ammā yang telah digarap dari kitab Naẓarāt fī Kitābillah karya Zainab alGhazali (w. 2005), iaitu surah al-Kāfirūn, al-Ikhlāṣ, al-Falaq dan al-Nās. Dengan menggunakan kaedah analisis kandungan, kajian ini mendapati Zainab al-Ghazali (ZAG) adalah tokoh mufassirin wanita dari Mesir yang sangat berdedikasi dalam mendidik generasi Muslim melalui tarbiah. Kaedah yang digunakan oleh ZAG adalah terjemahan secara langsung dengan pendekatan da‘wī dan tarbawī. Kajian ini turut membuktikan unsur-unsur tarbiah akidah dalam surah Makkiyah telah berjaya membina generasi kepimpinan Muslim unggul yang patuh dengan ajaran Allah dan tetap dalam akidah dan ajaran Islam sehingga dapat membina beberapa kerajaan Islam di serata dunia

This research aims to highlight the concept of synonyms and the views of scholars on its occurrences in the Qurʾān – having been divided between approval and denial. The study was carried by examining the purported “synonyms” in Sūrah al-Baqarah to form the basis for the methodological framework. Other relevant verses were given due attention as well. An analysis was done on selected cases to determine whether the words can be considered as synonyms or they are more accurately rendered as words with similar meanings. The use of synonyms in human speech is inevitable. The problem arises when the exact concept is applied in reading and apprehending the Qurʾanic texts. The general laymen mostly did not pay much attention to details when it comes to the comprehension of the Qurʾān. This paper seeks to contribute in this subject and the research adopts the inductive and analytical approach. A conclusion will be provided at the end of the paper to present the result of this research

There have been several research studies examining television advertising content in terms of effects rather than television advertising production. The production process is significant to examine so as to determine the factors that influence advertising messages prior to the formation of a framework guiding the television advertising production process. The purpose of the research study is to examine the television advertising production process of countries that are members of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The OIC acts as a collective voice for Muslims making its members important to examine in relation to whether Islamic values are imbued in the production of television advertisements. The study was framed using the Hierarchy of Influences model that underlines the five levels of influence on media content ranging from macro to micro levels that include social systems, social institutions, organizations, routines, and individuals. Interviews with eight representatives of OIC countries were carried out and the data was analysed using thematic analysis as the first layer of Fairclough’s 3D critical discourse analysis model. The findings suggest that television advertising production is influenced by the countries’ different subsystems involving an assortment of economic, political, cultural dimensions; government television media prefer disseminating public communication messages to audience members; the media as a social institution can be more prominently Islamic in some countries than others thus this fashions different advertising content; the government plays a more or less prominent role in regulating the advertisements; and the absence of guidelines that scrutinise television advertising production by OIC countries is apparent. A television advertising framework is recommended as the outcome of the research study by focusing on the ideals and commonalities between OIC countries.

The advancement of the technology in printing media has led to the increasing number of paper-based published Islamic literature materials. Eventually, the demand to provide a means of disposing unused published materials has also increased. In Malaysia alone, according to the latest statement of JAKIM, JAIS and JAWI, they are not able to accept any unused published Islamic literature materials for disposal for the time being due to the large volume at the collection center. Based on our early research, we perceive that the present fatwa and guidelines in Malaysia which restrict the disposal method to only burning and disseminating the ashes into the sea as the main reason behind the bottleneck problem at the collection center. The collective responsibility of stakeholders in the making of responsible advertisements is the essence of the multiple perspectives for responsible advertising by Polonsky & Hyman (2007) that is based on the stakeholder theory. This research study aims to contribute to current literature by defining the ideals of responsible advertisements from the Islamic perspective. The purpose of this research study is to examine the concept of Islamic advertising as what it should be rather than what is already practised as Islamic advertising. This qualitative study involves the interviewing of academicians with an Islamic background. The key findings suggest that Islamic advertising can be comparable to propagation if it adheres to the principles of da’wah, is centred on tawḥīd, promotes ḥalāl products and is Shari’ah compliant. The challenge was in defining Islamic advertising as there is seemingly a paradox regarding the association of advertising whose conception was inspired by commercialism, whilst Islam promotes the view of propagation and moderation in consumption. It is hoped that this research study has contributed to current studies on stakeholder theory and defined Islamic advertising in view of Malaysia’s position as the Global Halal Hub

Abstract- The ‘3w theory ’ has been formulating in multidisciplinary research from the Qur’anic perspective. Consequently, based on our attention to the Holy Qur’an we found that the Qur’anic ayat (verses) refer to three question types – “what”, “why ” and “what ” which are all related to multidisciplinary research. Therefore, we name it ‘3w theory ’ or ‘triple w theory ’ = wWwT. The 1st (w) is for “what”, the 2nd (w) is for “why ” and the 3rd (w) is for “what ” in research. The main aim of this paper is initially show the perception about the 3w theory, its objectives as well as important in conducting research. Background: This study focuses on the herbal medicinal importance of watermelon (citrulluslanatus) mentioned in the Ahadith. Objective: The main objective of this study is integration between the Ahadith and the modern clinical reports on the herbal medicinal importance of watermelon. Methods: It has been discussed in this study followed by botanical name, name mentioned in the Prophetic traditions, Arabic name, English name, family, part used, nature and flavor, basic substance and medicinal use. Results: The study proved that there is no contradiction between the Ahadith and modern clinical reports on the herbal medicinal importance of this fruit. Conclusion: In conclusion, we can say in the light of this study that herbal medicine and modern medicine are complementing each other to promote humans health and comfort and always should be thankful to the Creator for His blessings.
